126 days later, how do you think the pandemic will end?

It wont end for a long while and until masks are mandatory and everybody sticks to the social distancing guideline.
Currently in York England and its full of tourists with no masks and not social distancing properly.
While this continues the spikes will persist! Crazy people.

Well, if anyone should get dragged out of their homes to experience the joys of an angry mob it shouldn't be average citizens who managed to hang on to their jobs or businesses, it should be our elected leaders.

oh my gosh how many times must it be said.....the covid is mixed with the big droplets of spit/mucus that comes out of our nose and mouth when we talk cough and sneeze..you act like these covid particles are by themselves......many people asymtomatc the mask keeps them from infecting others

The epidemic almost ended in late June when the CDC said we (USA) was nearing the threshold of few enough deaths/hospitalizations. That statement activated _______________into action, ramping up positive tests and deaths in FLA/TX/ARIZ/CA.

I honestly believe the virus was created in a lab to do esentially the job it has been doing.

China has the worst problem with an extremely large elderly population that is dragging down their economy. Their misguided one child policy created 2 huge issues, one the fact that now a couple is supporting not only their children but 4 elderly adults as well. Now that they have lifted the one child policy, people are not having more than one, they can't afford them, which keeps the enormous sex selection and imbalance problem alive.


Japan and many if not most "first world" countries have had huge drops in fertility rates that are far below replacement, creating a massive imbalance of too few working young people supporting too many elderly on socialist health and pension plans. It is so bad in Japan that entire villages are disappearing for lack of people because the Japanese just aren't having children at anywhere close to replacement rates. Because of Japanese xenophobia they refuse to allow immigration of young working adults to alleviate the problem.

The massive immigration in most of Europe and the push for it in the US by the Democrats is to import young healthy cheap workers to support the aging population who have below replacement birth rates. In other words stealing young people from poor countries with high birth rates so that the poor countries will be left with the elderly and unhealthy and become even poorer.

This virus conveniently solves a number of the first world's issues. It kills mainly the elderly first. Then it kills those who are eating up health care resources with their chronic health issues.

Yes it has killed some younger people but that is what I believe is called an acceptable casualty rate that was to be expected.

Nearly no children have been severely affected, just enough to keep people in panic, but very very very few worldwide.

This virus solved a lot of the current socialist and communist world's issues. Killing off expensive elderly and infirm while leaving the very young alone and affecting only mildly working age individuals.

I do believe it was engineered, but that is moot now that it is loosed.

I do believe it accidentally escaped the bioweapons lab in Wuhan, but that too is moot now that it is loosed.

I believe, (but don't want to believe because it is too horrible to imagine), it was loosed in Wuhan as an experiment and when proved successful - people all over the world were invited to one of the largest international dinners every put on - purposely infected - and sent around the world to solve the growing problem in socialist/communist nations of people who are "useless eaters" and people who use up health care resources and can never be productive members of society.

Regardless of what I believe, it is loose, it will stay loose for a minimum of 2 years maximum of 4 when even the worst natural plagues burn themselves out due to herd immunity. The virus will have done it's job and "saved" socialist health care systems billions if not trillions in the long run and saved countries from paying pensions/social security by the trillions.

It may also have been a coordinated worldwide effort of first world movers and shakers to eliminate the growing elderly population on pensions and to eliminate the chronically ill to "save" their economies from a looming socialist health care and pension disaster.
The virus just too conveniently solves many of the first world's looming economic problems.

It will have to run it's course like its always had too, I get the first shut down, to spread it out for the hospitals. But now we have 19 states below RT of 1.0 most Ive seen in two months. Such "hot states" like Florida, New Jersey,California and Texas are all below 1.0, still aways to go but it's better than it was 2months ago a lot better.

There will be ripples here and there and there will be more case spikes in winter, but nothing that doesn't fit into normal parameters and eventually it will be just another virus. And yes watch how differently its portrayed in the media if Biden wins.

Rt, a key measure of how fast the virus is growing. It’s the average number of people who become infected by an infectious person. If Rt is above 1.0, the virus will spread quickly. When Rt is below 1.0, the virus will stop spreading

Oh my gosh how many times must it be said that larger particles of water vapor from your lungs... each containing many thousands of copies of the virus still pass right through the cheap masks that don't even fit tightly on the face of the virus spreaders anyway?

I don't think that is what they are doing.

The American public is not stupid although the media and the Democratic Party seem to run on the premise we are.

What they are saying is that the media will lie to us if Biden is elected - in one of two ways

Shortly after being elected they will lie and say Biden ended the pandemic, because he can't and Americans are not that stupid to think he alone can stop a virus by being elected

OR

Shortly after being elected the media will stop reporting on the virus as if it had ended if Biden is elected, therefore making the virus "disappear", but Americans aren't that stupid either when their friends and family are still getting sick and hospitalized

What people are saying is the media is lying to us and we know it on behalf of the Democratic Party because they are true dedicated liberals who will do anything to annihilate conservative thought and speech, even lie, especially lie to the American public

No one actually believes the election of Biden will end the virus, they believe the mainstream media (CNN MSNBC NBC ABC CBS NYTimes Atlantic, etc) will lie because they are lapdogs of the Democratic Party and are never to be believed anymore.

What these quite transparent lies they tell us daily are really doing is two things:
Most conservatives will not speak to any reporter or pollster for fear of retribution if they say they support Trump, since so many have lost jobs, been doxed, been social media hounded etc because someone said something even slightly conservative to a non-conservative - thus driving polls into mere reflections of the liberal media's wishes.
Most conservatives do not trust the media period are starting to think the media rarely tells the truth and drives conservatives to think the truth is the opposite of what they tell us.

Masks won't do anything when you have huge groups congregating for protesting and rioting. Masks are better than nothing but are really quite ineffective for most situations. That's why any patient with or suspected of having a covid infection must wear a mask and also have a sheet draped over their face.

or any one in politics. They don't have to worry about what
the public believes, knows or how stupid they ( The public)

They carry on accordingly because we have no real say in anything.

Referring to the US, I think it will end the same way it started, politically. Nobody cared about the coronavirus until the impeachment failed miserably. It was around and there were threads on it I believe or maybe I had read about it in the news. Either way, nobody cared for a good while, 2,3 maybe even 4 months.

The Democrats are definitely playing it up. That's only because Biden is just scary with a microphone in his hand. But, honestly who really even cares anymore. I found a great job to replace the one the Democrats outlawed me from going to, but our country is doomed economically, so in the end nothing even matters. We're all going to be slaves to the system very soon.

I'm one of those people that accept these viruses pop up here and there and if it's your time, well then it's your time. You can protect yourself and use your freedom to quit your job and stay at home and wear a mask when you go out. The other option is to force your way onto others and restrict their freedoms and abilities to take care of their families, force people you don't know to wear masks and destroy their jobs, which is a very cowardly thing you can do in life.

I say we freedumb the hell out of the virus and ignore it.

I think here in the US things will get worse as less people take precautions. That may become the norm until other countries gain control over the virus. Many have already while other are still having problems. ATM US citizens are banned from traveling in most of the world and it will stay that way until we get the virus under control. When the rest of the world opens up to each other and we start whining that they will not let us visit there will be a shift in perception with our citizenry that helps us contain the virus.

It will end when everybody is chipped, sterilized, and cyborg compatible through vaccines.

I wonder how many shots we'll be forced to take?
