A.G. BARR Testifies Live Before Jerry Nadler's House Judiciary Committee on 7-28-2020.

And given the statements made by Attorney General Barr in recent TV interviews, his testimony tomorrow promises to be a barn burner!

In fact, he electronically delivered his opening statement to members of Nadler's House Judiciary Committee this past Friday.

Democrats on the Committee quickly went into "damage control" mode, and began rehearsing what they are going to ask, and accuse the Attorney General of doing wrong.

Here is Attorney General William Barr setting the tone:

Barr signaled he was ready for a clash with Democrats by slamming "the grave abuses involved in the bogus 'Russiagate' scandal" in his opening statement.

He also accused committee Democrats of trying to "discredit me by conjuring up a narrative that I am simply the President’s factotum who disposes of criminal cases according to his instructions."

"My decisions on criminal matters before the Department have been my own, and they have been made because I believed they were right under the law and principles of justice," he added.

The 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) hearing is expected to last close to five hours, factoring in five minutes of questioning for each of its 41 members.

The last time Barr testified, he confirmed the Barack Obama Administration SPIED on the Trump Presidential Campaign in 2016. The Democratic Congressmen were angry at him for revealing (what they thought) was a well-kept secret.

But the Attorney General said the Spying might have been legal and justified...that he was going to look deeper into it. He then appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham to do just that.

Since then, Barr has given several interviews confirming that the Spying, along with several other actions taken by Obama Admin officials, was done ILLEGALLY.

Cool. When do I get to see Nadler testify before Barr now?

I hope I have the time to watch the whole thing....but it isn't supposed to rain tomorrow, so I doubt if I will get to watch too much.

I hope the findings by Durham's team of investigators is made public BEFORE the November election. Americans deserve to know as much as possible before casting our vote.

Nadler has never been creditably accused of criminal activities, AFAIK. He's probably just a jerk who thinks he's Superman, after losing 120 pounds.

Agreed.

Barr was supposed to testify in May of 2019, but Nadler wanted the questioning conducted by House lawyers in secret, instead of by Congressmen themselves, in Open Session. So Barr cancelled.

Barr was scheduled to appear on March 31st, but Nadler high-tailed it out of D.C., afraid of Covid-19.

I'm thankful that Questions will be limited to 4 minutes per committee member, per question. That should keep Democrats from droning on and on, to chew up the clock. The one Congressman who eats Kentucky Fried Chicken during the testimony, is really a time consuming questioner.

Yeah I would expect the usual deflection and disinformation from the Democrats while they are trying to pin everything on Trump from slavery to Nadler’s ill fitting suits.
Hopefully Jim Jordan hammers them good as well.

The shlt-show of American politics continue.

Nothing but constant divide and conquer tactics, nothing is going to happen, Trump will probably be re-elected, and we get 4 more years of drama from socialistic dreamers.

Since the COVID run went so well, expect more lock-downs on a regular basis, because I mean 911 went so well with the patriot act, why stop there? Test run, success. People believe the shlt they see on the internet, so lets just buy the internet and media in general.

6 companies control 95% of American media, basically 6 people have control over what 325+ million people consume as 'news and media', yeah nothing can go wrong there.

Society has been so dumbed down, they argue about things that literally have zero impact in life in general, yet, they argue. A prime example is here on ATS, people just say stupid shlt just to say it.

Nothing is going to happen, sorry to be a negative nancy, but the status quo is so ingrained now, that nothing will change.

The craziest politicians are going to be voted out of office. They start "locking down" again, as unemployment benefits are being decreased, and you'll have citizens removing them by force.

I wish that would happen, but real life comes into play.

There is a lot of money in play trying to cause the downfall of the USA, and they are winning.

Education was infiltrated 30 years ago, and now the results are showing.

I'm hoping AG Barr can throw some heavyweights in prison before America becomes too dysfunctional.

He said during his confirmation hearing that the one thing he wants to do, as a last gesture of his long career, is to clean up Washington D.C. corruption. Then he alluded to how past A.G.'s have been "silenced" through intimidation. Then declared that he cannot be intimidated at this point in his life. (A real bad-ass Barr is!)
