For those who have not been paying attention to this dramafest, it began on Monday when Republican congressman Ted Yoho reportedly called Democratic congresswowman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) "disgusting" and "out of her freaking mind" after she asserted that the riots and looting across America was because of poverty and unemployment:

Now, I'm no fan of AOC or her politics and her full stressed pronunciation of the F-word doesn't sit well with my image of Congress woman, but I think the Congressman Yoho went overboard and needs to apologize for using foul degrading language towards a woman. Besides, why give the non-patriotic leftists fodder for their manipulations?! They'll use it ad-nauseam.

and I say that with this caveat AOC and those like her are needed in a society as large as diverse as ours, we need that voice if for no other reason to know we don't want to move in that direction.
