Yes, but Black Lives Matter, the name, is a psychological ploy. It's a war with words.
There is a difference between saying "I don't support Black Lives Matter" and "Black lives don't matter."
Does a person's subconscious differentiate between the two?
Is this a brilliant play on words deliberately meant to be that double edged sword?

As a white guy (with Native ancestry), I cannot speak for any group.
The amount of walk away, and other such narratives I have seen from POC on media platforms, suggests to me this election will be unprecedented in regards to folks dismissing the current social talking points.

It seems that certain elements on the left acknowledge that support for President Trump has increased among the black community.

I’ve heard 14% and I’ve heard something about 42% something..I forgot it immediately because I didn’t believe it. Everyone I work with and half of my friends are black and I’ve never heard them say anything nice about the President

I know. But it would’ve been easy for him before he ran for President.
People forget how popular he used to be. Don king, Muhammad Ali, all the rappers from back in the day, I could go on and on. Black people liked and respected him until he ran for president.
