RSOE EDIS Alert Map - a fraction of the information it used to have

RSOE EDIS used to be one of my favorite sites for emerging pandemic information. I went there today for the first time in months to check on the thing coming out of Kazakistan (sp?), but there is zero health information now. Some on volcanoes, etc., but where did all the health info go? Has anyone been watching this site?

The site has had major problems for the past year or more.

The NASA NEO Earth Close Approaches page has very close numbers for the LD and AU distances. It does not make sense and when you email them, you don't ever get an answer.

It seems to me that the owners stopped caring for the site some time ago.

That "Hungarian" site
was top notch. Especially
informative on not only
Eastern European events,
but Global Events as well.

One must consider the source
funding and if it has been cut.

Possible. But I always inferred
that it was a private university.
I could be wrong,
and that would be nothing new.

I usually go to rsoe edis once or twice a day. But what the heck.
