MythBusters host Grant Imahara dies

This was shocking to see. He was 49 and had a brain aneurysm. I used to love watching MythBusters grant was one of my favorites on the show.

It's a sad thing in this trying time.
Grant will be remembered.

Part of the reason I'm still awake actually, just thinking about mortality like that. He will be missed, was a great intellectual mind, and very entertaining with his genuine joy with his profession. Shame to hear it.

2020 really sucks.

Super bummed to wake up to this. After Kari (for obvious reasons), Grant was my favorite Mythbuster. Very sad, way too young.

I just found out about this news about ten minutes ago, billy joel once sung about how only the good die young' maybe he was right.

Always liked watching mythbusters, firstly because they had the license to blow up stuff, and be informative at the same time.

Whatever afterlife you end up in Gary, promise me you''ll keep blowing up stuff.

Does anybody else find it interesting that just two weeks ago accusations came out against Adam Savage re: molesting his sister when younger?

There have been an awful lot of coincidences lately.

ETA: one wonders what it might look like if famous people tried to take a stand against official narratives on Covid, race riots, etc. Smear accusations and deaths could be a tactic.

Well he did start on the show in 2005, that was 15 years ago. So not early 20's but pretty young.

Well this is ATS and yeah interesting coincidence, but what would Grant know. Being co-workers doesn't equate to personal friends...
