I've been told that President Trump refuses to use the word "depression", yet PM Abe of Japan has said something like this: This is the worst depression even worse then The Great Depression.

My thoughts are this. I feel the economy at both countries are at the bottom of the pit and at the bottom is water. The economy is just floating on water till it dries up.

Do you guys think the bottom of the pit will dry up and a "real depression " awakes even the rich folks too?

Over 7 million people starved in the US in the great depression, so no we have not gotten their, car sale s were none existent the working man who drove the Ford car sales could not even buy cars that had down under 600 bucks, along with no jobs there was no food the great dust bowl of the bread basket has turned the mid west into a giant dust bowel with all the top soil blowing from state to state and back again. We are no were close to the human suffering of that time period.

There will be a rebellion before it gets to that point. We still have that history from the 1920-30s to look back on, the Left hasn't removed that yet so we can prevent that from happening again. How? By not letting our government completely destroy our economy.

Nothing is "permanent", except death.

I think the rich in the usa have never truly felt any of our depressions.
I think they help them to happen so that they can buy up more wealth.

No, I don't think so.

Very nice weather and people still humming about.

Thats what you would mean by a state of depression.

If you meant an economic depression, I think no its not permanent.
But we can't keep inflating the economy with Fed funny money.
We need to protect the real drivers of hte economy, small businesses.
By letting them open up normally now.

The US has just had its longest ever period of continuous economic growth.

I think worrying about a permanent depression is a little premature.

I don’t think depression is the right word. I think pissed off is more accurate. By November 4th we should all be feeling better. Or I may be packing. If Creepy Joe wins, I think I’ll liquidate my business’s an find myself a nice little island in the Caribbean and sit myself up as king. Or at least Grand Potentate. I know, I’ll open a bar. I drink enough to make myself rich. Live music on the dock and We will have a wet T-shirt contest every Tuesday, for women over 60.

Sound like fun. Beats the hell out of a depression. Let me have my politically incorrect day dreams.

You got it. Just wait till August then, there will be a clearer picture.

But a depression, of course.

The US has been in a permanent depression since 1913, when a bunch of hosers sold our countries future to a couple of rich folks.

Only way out is to ban the FED- and make their crimes known to every man woman and child.
As it stands the education system doesn't even touch on how their scam works, which imo is criminal in itself.
