Update: China no longer shows data on inflow for the Three Gorges Dam. Normally this data would be refreshed when the site is updated. It has now been censored creating more speculation the dam is close to breaking.

In addition to the above the following report gives quite a few insights to current affairs taking place around to world regarding China, including subversion in the US, UK and Australia and Canada. K-12 Schools in the US are being subverted also, up to 500 kindergarten to higher education schools known to be infiltrated by the CCP.

xi Jinping's whereabouts is being kept secret.

China just went into HK heavy after passing laws that don't meet the legal criteria there - they may be scrambling for a new capitol if the dam fails and wipes the country out.

I expect this has been mentioned already but the Three Gorges Dam is a gravity dam , I.e. it is pretty damn near impossible for it to collapse.

Google & WIKI can inform you of a significant number of large gravity dam failures, including some that experienced sudden catastrophic collapse.

A dam using only the weight of 40 million tons of concrete to hold back 40 billion tons of water requires extremely accurate design for its local geography and near perfect construction. Many international experts believe this particular dam is potentially deficient in both of these areas.

the constructors said it could outlast the biggest flood in 10,000 years, then 1,000 years then 100 and now they are invading the Honk Kong

Failed dams in China have already killed 240000 for the same reasons, rushed, shoddy unchecked construction - when China brought in western specialists after it was built they said u r fkd - not just the water but the massive amounts of silt building up, and the earthquakes.

Search for:

1975 Banqiao Dam Failure

(61 additional Chinese dams collapsed in 1975)

Excerpt from wiki:

The 1975 Banqiao Dam failure In August 1975, the dam failure created the third-deadliest flood in history which affected a total population of 10.15 million and inundated around 30 cities and counties of 12,000 square kilometers (or 3 million acres), with an estimated death toll ranging from 85,600 to 240,000.

do you have a source for the factoid of the 'Western specialists' being critical of the Three Gorges?

It wasn't me that made that particular claim. I do recall some articles at the time but didn't pay any attention to it so I wouldn't want to weigh in on that at all.

The article below was first result in a google search for "three gorges dam western inspection". Questionable source, but probably more sources there if you are really interested.

Upon further review: I see you are not asking about the other member's ur fkd post.

Yes, the nyt article in my post lists the specialists and their general concerns

Check out this clip of the Three Gorges dam letting off excess water to reduce pressure.

Looks like the beginning of a disaster movie, before the huge wave arrives, doesn't it?

"The Xin'anjiang Reservoir, a major reservoir in East China, opened all its nine floodgates to discharge water. It is the first time in its history since it was built in 1959." This isn't Three Gorges but it gives an idea of the problem China is facing.

China is a huge country geographically. I wonder how much of it has experienced the record rainfall?

It's about 450 miles away on a different river.

It seems as though southern China is taking a beating.

"With torrential rain and massive flooding ravaging much of southern China, the Xin'anjiang Dam on Wednesday (July 8) opened all nine of its floodgates, causing 12 villages downstream to be inundated, impacting over 300,000 people."
