i wont post snippits as were not suposed to quote other message boards but here is a comment chain from the new policy announcement from reddit
old.reddit.com... link to bulk of the comments that some how dont violate reddit policy from a reddit user with a funny username
i.redd.it... hoping his wife/gf gets murdered over a comment
imgur.com... wants to laugh when the gun owners get killed
so you can still hate on the "majority groups" and that is fine apparently..... id assume they are going off national numbers other wise it would need different rules for each state like say ca which i believe has a majority Hispanic population vs Montana where its mostly white?
A particularly debated topic surrounding Rule 1’s “Hate Based on Identity or Vulnerability” resulted in many online also mocking the interpretations of this vague new policy change. The excerpt in questions stated, "While the rule on hate protects such groups, it does not protect all groups or all forms of identity. For example, the rule does not protect groups of people who are in the majority or who promote such attacks of hate." Journalist Tim Pool pointed out in a tweet that this new rule could mean that hate targeting people for being female is allowed, due to their majority status in the U.S.
How is this unlike Maos cultural revolution?

Kind of ironic a subreddit famous for censoring and banning people gets, you know, censored and banned.
You are what you eat.
All communities on Reddit must abide by our content policy in good faith. We banned r/The_Donald because it has not done so, despite every opportunity. The community has consistently hosted and upvoted more rule-breaking content than average (Rule 1), antagonized us and other communities (Rules 2 and 8), and its mods have refused to meet our most basic expectations. Until now, we’ve worked in good faith to help them preserve the community as a space for its users—through warnings, mod changes, quarantining, and more.
Though smaller, r/ChapoTrapHouse was banned for similar reasons: They consistently host rule-breaking content and their mods have demonstrated no intention of reining in their community.
To be clear, views across the political spectrum are allowed on Reddit—but all communities must work within our policies and do so in good faith, without exception.

Trump owns entire media platforms. He isn't being silenced, just opposed.
Which ones? I found four TV shows. What networks or social media companies does he own?
And as for social media groups, you could consider The Tea Party and many other right-wing groups with a platform to be totally pro-Trump.
That is NOT what you said initially.

Now please tell me what media platforms he owns.

Its out of control and this is not going to lead to anywhere good for the general public regardless of ones political views.
The winners with all this censoring is going to be the globalist oligarch corporations and there handlers who will use the internet and media to manipulate the public and set the narrative.
Its no coincidence both party want to shutdown freedom of speech online. The left censoring from the content providers side and the right by getting rid of net neutrality principles.

OK, he doesn't have commercial ownership, any more than the Democratic Party doesn't have commercial ownership of CNN and other media outlets.
He does 'pwn' them, though.

I get that you never before looked inside some of these subs. I did. This is not a loss for humanity, be it left, right, up, down, whatever.
Mostly trolls outtrolling each other. Political contents? The more "shocking", the better. If you consider that of value, then you have to visit voat.
