Ok both of you stop it, this isn't about Chicago IL, this is about Louisville KY. We all know that the issue in Chicago is horrid and given that their Mayor isn't doing crap about it, it's just going to get worse.

Also we may have real evidence of paid agitators here.

Apparently that situation in Louisville turned out to be just another shooting in gun-happy America. There are 313 every day. If the one in Louisville was not "Caught on Camera!", we would not even have a thread on it.

But I'm glad there is this thread, because I would not have known about the police killing an innocent Louisville lady in her bed.

If I had actual solid evidence it would have been posted already. What we all here have currently is the possibility, and that's enough to get people thinking about it, and either pick apart the idea, or pull up the info needed to confirm it.

Also we get it you hate Trump, but the problems in Chicago aren't his. What I mean by that is that the Mayor and Governor clearly don't want his help, but lets say Trump moved in and stopped all the madness going on in south Chicago, then you and people who think like you would be going off that Trump is some kind of dictator.

A lot of people die every day. Here's and example; when George Floyd died everyone became outraged over it, a drugged up out of work porn star died. The guy gets five funerals that might as well have been state funerals. In the mean time several Veterans lost their lives due but nobody gave a second thought about that. One guy I know was recommended for the Medal of Honor in Vietnam for saving a bunch of guys. He didn't receive it at the time because he was black, and when it went up in front of Clinton to review it, he got passed over again because he was a Republican. Me and a few others went to his funeral. The guy put his kids through college and never had a criminal record, but in the end the black community was told that a drugged up out of work porn star was more important then a guy who made a difference in his community. Before anyone says, but but but police bad. Look Police aren't all bad, we all should know that by now, but look at the situation without race and ask yourself; "what happened, and was in preventable by the deceased?"

While I know Vietnam was a farce, it's terrible for any human to have to go through such a thing. If an afterlife does exist, I hope your friend is well and good. Sorry for your loss.

Because the gun control debate is effectively over.

No politician is going to make the case for at least a generation that gun control is a must.

Race riots, heavy-handed government, wanton murder, defund the police, so forth and so on. No one is buying gun control as an argument anymore.

Very few, if any, pieces of federal legislation relating to firearms in the past 30 years expand the rights of individuals in regards to firearms. Almost if not all of them seek to restrict them in one way or another.

there are 26 states that allow open carry, there are 13 that allow licensed open carrying. that is just a tad bit more than a few.

a wiki cause it's fast,
Open carry in the United States

Almost if not all of them seek to restrict them in one way or another.

i'm gonna have to do some checking, but the last federal law to be passed on gun control was in 2007 and it was to expand waiting period for suspected terrorists.

before that it has been 25 yrs since the last federal law restricting any U.S. citizens known as the Federal Assault Weapons Ban.

have to give email to read whole story, use a fake one.
The last time the US federal government limited gun ownership was 25 years ago

like i said i'm pretty sure about these, and would have to check been a while. now as far as states there's always some new law being proposed for and against gun control.

I live in Louisville. Nobody cares any more. The small group that has been camping there aren't even from here( these are NOT the original Breonna Taylor protesters). Downtown is mostly boarded up and a lot of the businesses are never coming back. The mayor (who ordered police to stand down several weeks ago and LIED about it) has finally decided that he needs to start cleaning up downtown for tourists in time for the re-scheduled Derby coming in a few months so now he's letting the police do their job (stop protesters from taking over part of the city). There will be no more protest camping.

They will have downtown sorted out in time to make those almighty tourist dollars- but the Highlands (where most of the serious activity has been going down) will remain the epicenter of activity and the mayor will no doubt let it continue at least for now. I'm so glad he can't run for re-election!

Honestly I'm surprised we don't get twice as many shootings. Last year an ordinance went into effect in the Louisville Metro area that we can concealed carry without a permit here. We were really expecting crimes involving firearms to go up but they had actually gone down until lockdown came along and started making people lose their minds.

What's the problem here?
Murder will obviously rise with no law enforcement.
Isn't this exactly what these people are protesting for?
I'd say their protests have been successful.

You'll be seeing higher kill counts very soon. The nutz are cracking. So many unstables out there and the "protesters" didn't quite count on this response, but its coming big time. Glad I'm buried far and away from all of it.

This story has no legs as it turned out the murderer is a left-wing rioter.
Expect no more of it from the MSM

2020 someone is shot in Chicago every 2 1/2 hours. This park looks like Disneyland compared to that warzone.

So far this weekend, 22 shot in 18 hours.

Update: 4 hours later, it's 28 shot in 22 hours.

Yep that's what winning looks like, grand innit.

President Trump offered to bring Chicago a potential solution this week, but the mayor and Illinois governor turned him down. No...that's NOT winning. That's stupidity.

They would rather see people die, then have Trump succeed in anything,

It's not about Trump, their power is based on fear.

The national guard could empty out the slums in a heartbeat r/crime over.

I have a bucket full of brass at home that I picked up from the desert - I guarantee there is fingerprints of felons on many of them - that would be enough if they wanted to get search warrants and find the guns and lock them up.

Guess what my local Sherrif said about it....hahah fkall
