I don’t see the problem. Can you tell my why DC shouldn’t be a state? I would really like to burn this flag with 50 stars, and purchase a flag with 51 stars.

They should also make Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Guam into States.

If it really bothered the Dems that much, they could always just cede DC back to Maryland, and the DC residents would have representation. The reason DC was created in the first place was because in the early years of the country, the mayors of Philly & NYC would do stuff like arrest and harass members of Congress they didn't like. The solution was to create an independent capital district that answers directly to Congress.

As it is, it's just an election-year political stunt, since they know it won't pass the Senate.

Heck yeah.
Whatever it takes to get Trump out.
And I've been a life long Republican from a long long family line of republicans, conservative. He's destroyed this once great country. He's gotta GO. He's turned the republican party into a sad, sick and disturbing mockery. A joke. I'm definitely voting Blue in November.

I'm holding out hope for the Northern Mariana Islands and Guam.

I've been to 49 states and I'd like to add to that.

When did they start paying taxes in PR?

Or just some opportunistic moan?
