This actually is something I have talked with my doctor about. But I will still wear a mask when in public, not for my health but for others. This virus is no joke for a small percentage of people. I was almost unable to move and lost a crap ton of weight. I got it back and have increased my workout times each day. But still it is very real so please don’t dismiss this. Please be safe man. I beg you to do so.

That brand of arrogant selfishness interferes with other peoples lives, and it's for no reason other than you being a stubborn and spoiled ass.

You don't need science here. You just need some common sense, some basic observational skills, and a willingness to divorce political views from matters that are in no way political.

I wore an N95 to an orthopedic appointment (broke my foot) and didn't have a problem with it. Today, wearing it while someone's cleaning my house, I feel like I'm suffocating. The only difference is that today I've had four cups of black tea. Increased cardiac and thus respiratory rates? Geez, this increased CO2 sucks bigtime.

Covid 19, causes the immune system to go after the infection in the lungs causing pneumonia.
Pneumonia isn't a virus its an immune system response gone wrong.
“Keep in mind that many people —for example surgeons or certain kinds of scientists—have routinely worn masks for long periods of time without clear adverse effects,” Stanley said. “With how common mask wearing has always been, even before COVID-19, we would know if hypercapnia was a problem with wearing masks.”

Excellent. Point.
But the mask isn't to protect you. Its to protect others from you.

It's the long-term periodic reduction of Oxygen that causes mental issues.
Everyone just needs to be aware that there is an undercurrent of things occurring, which are not in the best interests of we the people.
As pointed out by fellow ATS Member CrankyOldMan here: www.abovetopsecret.com... , the things "they" push the hardest on us this year, should be examined most closely.

Heck, metalthunder even had his smirky memes ready to go, in a shameless effort to embarrass, shame or bully mask wearers.

Do you really need studies to understand that a mask is meant to keep those droplets of spittle from flying out of your mouth into other peoples faces? Really? You are that hard to convince? Even when its obvious basic common sense and logic?
