I am not a BLM leader nor a lead of any sort. I am an old white guy who in my youth, over 50 years ago noticed that the Jesus I was presented with in my church, in the culture around me and in the Xmas stories I was fed realized that the depiction of Jesus was decidedly non-representative of his ethic reality. The most famous picture of Jesus was that ''Solomon's Head'' photo that we all grew up with. It was a fabrication. Jesus was not Caucasian as Western culture and religious depiction will have us believe.

Surely all here already know this. So, yeah, I guess, if we are after truth, we should demolish this mis-representation of Jesus.

Should we tear down all the statues? Hell no. Rather I would see new statues crafted with a truer representation of Jesus and stood up alongside the old statues as a testament to just how we have been brainwashed for at least a thousand years.
