That's a bit far reaching. But I am actually one of those who'd want to see a few things about the human civilisation end.
A spiritual, philosophical make over to something that actually works.
One step closer to the truth about life, the universe and everything would be nice.
Something like... shamanistic science?

Did Dark predict the end of the world in 2020?

during the second season, a tape is shown where a person named Claudia Tiedemann claims to be one of the survivors of the apocalypse of June 27, 2020. Although in the series this occurs due to a nuclear accident

During the series it is indicated that June 27, 2020 is the beginning of the last cycle of life as we know it , so it would not be a sudden end but a stage that would eventually come to an end.

Personally, I think the timeframe from winter solstice 2020 to summer solstice 2021 will come with some interesting events. But that's a different story...

no - it isnt - this is just more idiots - who were pissed off that nothing happened in 2012 - or any of thier other " revisions " - attempting to peddle thier " latest " doom porn fantasies .

hear is a hint - can you cite any of these idiots [ who before 21 DECEMBER 2012 , turned out to be a fantasy " apocalypse ] were - making claims that any of the future dates were the " real apocalypse " ?

I'd rather see it begin.

This.. whatver this half-animal infestation it is that we live surrounded by currently, can go away, though.

But it can't go away gradually, its too engrained - you also can't build a good system on top of a thoroughly corrupted one without the good system being corrupted or collapsing. So the only way to have an ACTUAL human civilization would be to remove what exists now, and then start from a clean slate, and build a new one together with our Extra-Terrestrial friends and brothers.

As an interesting (?) coincidence (?), today begins a new month according to the moon calendar - hence, 'new moon'.

Well, sisters may help, too.

So the only way for it to begin is for THIS crap to end. As a temporary visitor, I am not that invested in the unnatural infrastructure and sheer madness that's so prevalent in this world, but I do feel like Neo after being told the truth - I'd like to be able to get out as soon as possible, and live a good life in a good world.

If this incarnation ends today, that fits my schedule perfectly. (It's still 21th June, Sunday in some parts of the world)

What timezones do these 'end of the world' calendars and predictions usually follow, by the way? Just so I know which clock to look at.

It's already the 22nd in Australia so they were obviously wrong again. If it's going to happen, I don't want to see a plaque do it. I want to see the effect of a huge asteroid, one large enough to split the planet in half. Total, instant destruction.

I'm half kidding, I would rather see people get their sthi together and right all the wrongs.

I tried to find the word in search engines but all the results were antonyms for rhyme.

eclipse means to cover from view.
apocalypse means to uncover to view.
