And there are morons who believe that fascism can’t exist on the left

‘The left’ is absolutely a fascist movement. “Think how we think, or you’re not a part of humanity”

Actually, they should know.

Even Stallin said that "the Democratic Socialists are objectively the soft form of fascism".

The modern bunch just dropped the soft part.

Fortunately the "Left" has only a small amount of real power in the USA, and even that is steadily dwindling.

Do not underestimate the power they have, or the power behind "the left."

Alphabet Inc and facebook dominate online ad revenue. They are going to bring this to bear even more than they have.

Twitter and massive corporations have made their position clear during the protests/riots.

Mass media and TV are better than ever at manipulation (toilet paper..).

And, the vast majority of corporate-political moves are being made at the local city council level. Most dont pay attention.

As the public movement starts to spin off the more sane, rational folks remaining on the left.. The remaining ones will increase in their literally disconnected, insane behavior.

Their power and influence may be dwindling in the traditional sense, but thats never been where the fight is at anyway. If you doubt it, look at the events from the beginning of the year to today.

Everything from colleges to public health institutions have been suborned or subverted. And this is all just in the US. The Woke Cult and the left in general are just pawns in a global, decades (at least) long operation. Although, the ideology of the cult itself is a major factor.

Its not really a conflict that is fought at the ballot box, and certainly isnt the "pew pew" kind either.

The more reliable markers are Woke Cult ideology, CCP connections, and *most* importantly: Sustainable Development Goals DoubleSpeak

I agree about this far left group. Easy to test also.

Wear a MAGA hat in the middle of the Seattle CHEZar-Cheeze whatever zone and shout how you love the USA.

Wonder what the response would be???

because they aren't socialists, they're liberal collectivists, advocates of mob rule that forget they're the minority and if they get what they want America would probably become even more right wing as a consequence.

really the only reason liberals and minorities have had any influence on laws the last 100 years is because the system keeps things balanced and doesn't allow mob rule, it could use improvements but its getting there eventually.

here is what marx himself said about liberals “an individual separated from community, withdrawn into himself, wholly preoccupied with his private interest and acting in accordance with his private caprice … The only bond between men is natural necessity, need and private interest, the preservation of their property, and their egoistic persons."

I'm somewhat pessimistic about all this but the actions of this minority of extremists are making it harder for them to hide their real aims.
They've got away with it because people are a lot more tolerant than credited.
That tolerance will evaporate.
It's not a question of getting more right wing but our spineless "leaders" will have to realise that appeasing the tiniest group is not a good way to win an election and they'll end up on the chopping block next if they don't act.

I see way too many replies writing this off as a joke instead of a real serious threat.

There's the perfect storm of ideas being accepted:

1. Very basic rights can be completed terminated for community health reasons
2. Certain political views can be exempted from these restrictions if the political reason is deemed by health professionals (not through votes) as more important
3. Social Workers will replace police. Why do you think they want social workers? Because they don't trigger constitutional rights like the police. Just like health professionals can decide who gets to protests, social workers will decide to gets "help" (also called jailed without a right to a jury).

The only critical link that's missing is claiming certain political views are a mental illness. They already established through laws and Michelle Obama's push, that mental health is no different than physical illness under the law.

It's called "being a salesman". Selling to people what they don't need. Which is basically the same skill as a propagandist.

Plus? Just getting the "idea out there", implies there's a need to "rehabilitate conservatives".
Can you see how that works?

Then you OP, help with the advertizing.
See how that worked?

The Democrat party in the U.S. is not the same party of 50 years ago. The Republicans are them Democrats now. The modern Democrats are pure socialist/communist (that includes "NAZI's") (fascist).

You're absolutely right. The Far Left elite string-pullers (globalists) are running the full narrative at this point. They are enforcing the destruction of nationalism and cancelling all voices of objection. NBC recently lobbied to get a conservative news outlet banned by Google ads and Google did it! I saw this earlier, reported again by Tim Pool.

Yes. It's hard to know how to look at anything lately. From one view, the Far Left are still Far Left. From the mainstream view, they are the Left now and I am Right, and real conservatives are now Far Right (this is the way they are trying to skew it.) If this is the new reality, because it is widely reported and assumed widely accepted/perceived, then what is Far Left now? Does it even exist anymore? And how could it not? Where did it go, according to them?

We all know they are crazy Far Left lunatics in reality. But if they control the platform and the content--and even the past as they are censoring old entertainment--then they control the dialogue, the perspective, the very definition of things for the public. Then can literally alter reality. Example: if the mainstream media decided to lie that red is blue and blue is red, and bring in 'experts' to 'prove' it, then this becomes reality. Even if virtually everyone knows it's BS. If it is enforced by media, and you are banned or singled out for disagreeing, then red becomes blue and blue becomes red. Future generations may never know they were once opposite, or it may become an interesting quiz question for geeks. They truly do hold this power. They are skewing science, literally, to where scientific organizations will insist that there is no biological difference between male and female! Are kids being taught this school yet? They probably are. To me and you the statement is obviously untrue no matter who says it, but to the kids of today and the adults of tomorrow?

The media is launching a war on free speech and democracy (shamelessly by use of free speech and democracy!) Solution: the News media needs to be held accountable for what they say. An opinion piece needs to be clearly marked as such. Any news reporting needs to be backed up with facts, or they should face lawsuits or fines. The days of journalistic integrity are over, so how could we trust their secret sources anymore? They've sacrificed their credibility for ratings grabbing and political bias. If they are allowed by free speech to control the content of modern dialogue, then they should be held to a higher standard while announcing 'facts'. News reporting should be real facts and nothing but, unless clearly announced as opinion.

As for Internet and social media, it's a platform. We the people provide the content. Much social discussion is online these days, so it needs to be protected for the sake of free speech. Legislation must be written and passed disallowing these platforms (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) from controlling the conversation. Free speech must prevail. Otherwise, we are losing what level of democracy we have built. Free speech is the most important right of all because if we lose that then we have no right to complain when the rest of our rights are stripped away. Speech has gone online, and the freedoms of speech must now apply online.

Why do they never consider the possibility that they might be the ones needing rehabilitation?

They do.
The #walkaway movement is not happening to the ‘right’
It’s the ‘left’ losing supporters hand over fist.

Well not so much losing them as chasing them all away

Like what happened to Candace Owens, was left but got attacked so hard by the alt-left, it pushed her into the alt-right.
This makes me think how many other people that aren't known that were left of center got attacked and pushed to the center, maybe even slightly right of center. Or just flipped to a independent.

The American Soviet Mentality

Try this piece. It explains exactly what is going on here. It was written by someone with connections to the old Soviet Union who has seen exactly what we have developing right now in the US.

Collective demonizations of prominent cultural figures were an integral part of the Soviet culture of denunciation that pervaded every workplace and apartment building.

What do we have now if not the shaping of collective demonization? Everyone denounces it, but if so many hate it and speak out against it, how does it end up working? Someone has to participate.

For a good example, look at what happened to Pasternak who wrote Doctor Zhivago. The piece in here goes into depth on it. He couldn't publish the book in Russia, so he had to publish it in Italy. It won the Nobel Prize! But he become a demon in his own country for writing a Nobel Prize winning piece.

The campaign against Pasternak went on for months. Having played out in the central press, it moved to local outlets and jumped over into nonmedia institutions, with the writer now castigated at obligatory political meetings at factories, research institutes, universities, and collective farms. None of those who joined the chorus of condemnation, naturally, had read the novel—it would not be formally published in the USSR until 30 years later. But that did not stop them from mouthing the made-up charges leveled against the writer. It was during that campaign that the Soviet catchphrase “ne chital, no osuzhdayu”—“didn’t read, but disapprove”—was born: Pasternak’s accusers had coined it to protect themselves against suspicions of having come in contact with the seditious material. Days after accepting the Nobel Prize, Pasternak was forced to decline it. Yet demonization continued unabated.

No one, NO ONE, in Russia read the book. They couldn't because they'd be demonized themselves for it if they had. The hatred and humiliation campaign against him was so intense, the Pasternak was forced to decline the Nobel only a few days after accepting it in order to try to get the bullying to stop, but it didn't.

It eventually undermined his health.

And Pasternak is just. one. example. Some of Russia's greatest artists of the time endured this, but it was a matter of course for anyone all up and down the social spectrum who wasn't sufficiently Soviet in various ways.

Factories, universities, schools, and research institutes were all suitable venues for collectively raking over the coals a hapless, ideologically ungrounded colleague who, say, failed to show up for the “voluntary-obligatory,” as a Soviet cliché went, Saturday cleanups at a local park, or a scientist who wanted to emigrate. The system also demanded expressions of collective condemnations with regards to various political matters: machinations of imperialism and reactionary forces, Israeli aggression against peaceful Arab states, the anti-Soviet international Zionist conspiracy. It was simply part of life.

At this point, the piece starts making the comparison's to what we're seeing now using modern examples. If you haven't already made those connections, I urge you to read them, but they shouldn't be necessary.

Someone yesterday made several posts referencing the "cultural revolution" to what is happening now.

Just curious when we'll be mandated to carry our own little red book.

I also want to point out your post to the similarities to removing statues.

I see removing statues the same as book burning.

Yet so many seem to be oblivious to the obvious similarities and are for it just because they themselves may find the statues offensive, even if they've never seen the statues in question.

Yes, and at first, they just targeted someone with the cancel campaign and you could stay quiet, but now, "silence is violence" so it's not enough to be quiet. Either you participate if you're called on or you fall into the category of a problem too.

They've taken the next step toward this Soviet mentality. People have to stand up to this together or else we're headed toward this type of culture and it leads nowhere good.

Because it seems a fringe minority is trying to take over and silence any that oppose them.

That cannot be tolerated.

This is the big difference between the Left and the Right in America.

Extreme right wing gets shunned by the rest of the Right.

The Left embraces and defends their extremists.

I watch Tim Pool every day. He's the only reporter I trust.

This is an example for why most of us aren't Left anymore. If this is the new Left, then what are regular liberals now? Centrists?

This. So many of these nutcases call themselves liberals. They are NOT liberals. Liberals at least believe in freedom. That is something the American Left is increasingly against.
