They set fire to a gas station next to the Wendys... What could happen if the under ground gas tanks catch fire?

That actually doesn't happen. That only happens in the movies. In real life, the pressure from the tanks keeps the fire from making its way down there. Plus there are valves that are supposed to slam shut in case of a fire. They could malfunction but it's still extraordinarily unlikely for the fire to reach the tanks.

There’s sheer valves under the pumps but they only close if a pump is hit or shaken, not in case of fire and tanks are not pressured, they’re actually vented. If someone popped the fill tube cap it can easily blow. Spent a lot of years as a petroleum tech.

I stand corrected.

so he resisted arrest, assaults the cops and stole a taser then runs , cops run after him and he turned and shot at the cop with the taser. The police them shot him and he died.

Fantastic work police, more criminal scum off the street.

It is, but then he chose to fight the cops. That sort of sets him up for a bad outcome.

Yeah.

Perhaps he should have put himself on the ground and waited for a knee to the throat.

Of course, because all cops are murderers and they live to just find a black man to strangle. Do you even read what you write? For someone who claims to be a free thinker, you certainly do parrot a lot of talking points.

Cops can't be aware of a volitile situation? In your mind they're something robots that can only act and react?

I guess I expect more out of trained professionals.

Have a great evening.

You're the one praising the actions of a government official that just killed someone, not me.

Exactly where did ketsuko praise anyone for killing anyone? Talk about hyperbole from the guy who jumped in complaining about hyperbole...

All cops are not murderers.

It doesn't matter what I write because it seems that you will attempt to twist it and when you can't you spout nonsense.

When have I ever claimed to be a "free thinker"? How absurd. And how not the topic. We're discussing our opinions of the topic and unfortunately of each other's arguments. As as far as parroting talking points? I only have one response for you.

"REEEE."

So the person was publicly intoxicated and blocking traffic, resisted arrest, assaulted an officer, stole an officer's weapon, evaded officers, then pointed (and possibly fired) said stolen weapon at the officer. And we're supposed to feel sorry for him? Good riddance. One less dangerous criminal on the streets.

The only one twisting facts are you in your attempt at inciting violence against officers and even against white people...

ALL countries have a history of slavery, and Africa and Middle Eastern countries win in how many slaves they have had, for how long they have had slavery, and to this day slavery still exists legally in many African and Middle Eastern countries...

You are no free thinker. You are a parrot parroting lies because you want, and LIKE this violence as it is an excuse to make the U.S. into a socialist dictatorship which you dream about every night, and daydream about during the day...

Perhaps you don't think that jumping through hoops to justify a law enforcment official's actions in a killing of a citizen qualifies as praise.

I do.

Then do you want to talk sanely about what happened?

If law enforcement comes up to you, fighting with them, grabbing a weapon, and running only to turn back and attempt to fire that weapon at them is not a smart thing to do *for any person of any color*.

I'm not justifying anything. I am telling you what anyone can see happened on the video.

Whether or not they say that the use of force was ultimately justified is not for me to say, but this is one of those muddy cases unlike George Floyd. It's even more muddy than what happened with Eric Garner.

It does look bad at first glance, emotionally.
"It's just a taser! Why shoot him?!"

But if he's willing to take a pot shot at a cop with a "less lethal" weapon, logically, that should tell you what he may be capable of if they just said screw it, let him go. He's proven his intent, escape by all means.

But damn does that clip work to "look" bad at a quick glance.

Again ignoring the fact that the CRIMINAL started a fight with the police officers, took a taser from one officer and turned and shot the taser which is the reason why he was shot...

It’s the fall of America folks, when law and order is now wrong. And unlawful behavior is deemed right under the guise of inequities.

You can quote that.

Man is drunk driving in a drive thru he passes out gets caught fails sobriety test resists arrest takes a taser from cops resisting arrest hence unlawful behavior, run cops chase he shoots taser at cops he gets fatality shot.

How the hell is that right? Were they suppose to let him run away? 🤦‍♂️ Is that suppose to be right now, if so it’s time to leave folks. We ain’t seen nothing yet.

You, who just went off with the typical silliness about "REEE" now want to talk sanely? Okay, excellent.

No, I do not believe I would fight with law enforcement. Given the level of police violence today? Nope, I would not.

However, I was not in the situation at hand. Further more, despite all the hyperventiliating posts, I'm not even claiming that the man who was shot was innocent. I'm saying, very clearly, that it was ill-considered at this time. The tazer in Georgia has been trumpeted for YEARS by LEOS as NON LETHAL.

And yet, in this case, it made them feel in danger for their lives from a man 40 feet away, running in the opposite direction.

That's my claim.

Did you look at the separation between the police officers? The first police officer couldn't look back (he had to keep in his sight on the criminal) to see how far his partner was, as the perpetrator aimed at the first police officer the officer opened fire.

When you are hit with a taser all your muscles flex and then you release whatever you have in your hands. At which point the criminal could have taken the gun and could have killed either one or both officers...

It was self defense. The criminal gave the police officers enough reason to shoot him because the criminal was ready to do anything including killing the cops.

Do you have any idea how many police officers have been ambushed, maimed or killed by criminals like that criminal since this started?...

Apparently it now is. Apparently now if you have the right skin color, no one can hold you accountable for anything anymore because that's too brutal.
