Talk about cognitive dissonance on full display...

I give you Clemson University changing the name of their Calhoun honors college because the former vice president of the United States, John Calhoun, was pro slavery in the early 1800s. Former high profile Clenson allumni petitioned Clemson to make the change and the university board strongly voted to drop Clahoun's name from the honors college as they didn't want to continue honoring someone who was pro slavery.

Here's the goddamn rub, though. Clemson university is named after its founder, Thomas Green Clemson... slave owner and Confederate Army officer
So I must wonder how soon it will be before these angsty little bastards come after the actual university, itself?

The word "No" should have been taught to each of these asshats years ago. Sadly the pandering we're seeing presently just kicks that can further down the road.

What I have concluded is that we need to get rid of everything ever related to slavery. Then we can pretend it never happened.

When someone makes a claim that they deserve reparations for slavery, we can just say "There never was slavery in the world". Problem solved.

Well, South Carolina is named after Charles I, he was a white dude, so they should change the name of the state to a innocuous symbol.

Or they can just call it The State Formerly Known as South Carolina.

The party of whose mascot is the donkey needs to undergo one if they're gonna be consisistent.

Fought to keep slavery.

Fought civil rights.

Still segregating people with the hyphenated Americanism's.

Come on DO IT.

From 2017... for anyone who doesn't believe we are seeing a long term gameplan playing out in front of our very eyes. I don't know if the Floyd incident was planned or simply the first convenient case to capitalize on, but most of what we are witnessing was carefully blueprinted by these traitorous ingrates on the left for some years now. All they needed was a combination of a spark and an economy downtrodden enough to provide an excuse to riot. COVID ensured the first convenient major incident on tape, such as Floyd's death, gave them their fantasy scenario.

I thought about that but it's just to much to say, plus it still has 'Carolina' and I'm easily triggered.

If we erase slavery successfully enough, then some important academic expert can come up with this new, wonderful reparations system whereby white folks can "sell" their body and service to black people to expiate their generational sin of privilege!

It's genius!

Go the Prince route and name the state a symbol... the symbol of slavery.

ETA: I actually delighted myself with this one. Rarely do I ever laugh at my own posts, but this caused joy.

Robert Carlyle Byrd (born Cornelius Calvin Sale Jr.; November 20, 1917 – June 28, 2010) was an American politician and former Ku Klux Klan member who served as a United States Senator from West Virginia for over 51 years, from 1959 until his death in 2010.

And erase any trace of Mr. KKK grandmaster

And his party cried when he died.

What a freggin farce.

Yeah, but they'll take the money anyway.

I used to laugh at the people saying we are living the opening act of 1984, but now I am not longer laughing.

The fact they are even going at statues of people that espoused similar views (not socialism but abolitionists) shows we are living it.

This time next year they will be trying to erase this self inflicted gash from their history.
The new iPhone will come out and all the kids will put down their rocks and stand in line for the new device made by white man. Make there way to the newly rebuilt Starbucks, and vlog about this great “learning experience.”

Learning experiences like this.
