Everybody being encouraged to kneel. Sorry, I only kneel to those that I willingly give power over me and that's to God and God alone. We're being forced to wear masks and to become faceless. No gender, no race, no ethnicity, that's been going on for a while now. Maybe them forcing racial division and hatred on us right now is the catalyst to make us want to abandon all identity under their supervision. What’s the point of maintaining or increasing outputs and automating manufacturing, goods and services if no one can afford to buy them?

Business needs consumers and consumers need some form of trading vehicle to buy these goods, generally obtained through labour.

We will just find new ways to occupy our time which will no doubt be for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many.

Or they kill us all off and the 500 million who remain live in a Utopia serviced by robotic slave machines.

I agree with some of what you say however personally my phone is a necessity and you shouldn’t judge people or call them dumb simply because they don’t live by your rules.

I spend most of my time away from home working and as a communications device it is very useful, especially if I’m away on long trips and want to speak to my kids on FaceTime. Not to mention it incorporates several tools that I use everyday for work which would be too cumbersome to carry individually.

I’m assuming you used some form of digital device to post on this forum? You think that is any safer than a mobile phone as far as tracking goes? So unless you’re using a stripped version of Linux, something like Tails and your connection is secured by multiple software and hardware firewalls, I would suggest you’re strategy to avoid detection has a serious flaw.

Good advice on the debt and banking tho, I too only keep enough for my monthly expenses in the bank, the rest is held in physical gold, silver and bitcoin. Don’t bother trying to rob me tho, it’s all safely stashed and/or encrypted.

Before you say I should quit my job and go live in a forest I have children to think about and I enjoy my job...... sometimes.

I can go into the woods for weeks and never think about a phone, you people are nuts by needing one and thinking you need one and i need one too and then trying to justify it with excuses.

Did you miss the part were I said I agree with you? If that makes me a dumb ass what does it make you? I too hate it when people sit an watch their phone all day. In fact other than work emails, phone calls, ATS, sat nav and the camera I don’t have any applications installed. If I could keep my job without it I would burn it. I’d love a farm in the country and it is my plan long term to live off grid. Maybe you shouldn’t be so judgemental and confrontationally aggressive. You never know you could make friends.

Unfortunately until I buy my farm building a shack in the woods isn’t an option. Can you suggest another way to communicate with my office over distances up to 2000 miles?

Industry and economics have changed and digital technologies are at the heart of most companies now. You’re living in the past if you think you can build a career without using a mobile phone in the IT industry. Career is my best option to become financially secure enough to get out of the rat race. I too have no debt, not one cent.

I think we would all love a quiet life living off the land, unfortunately I have responsibilities unlike you so need to earn a living. It’s necessary in a sense that I need it for work and as I travel it has the added bonus of allowing me to communicate with my children.

The world doesn’t revolve around you and your narrow perspective.
