This is correct, they addressed the "slashing" after the videos were made public and they did initially lie.

Yeas I have worn British riot gear and clamps come in all shapes and sizes.
But what does that have to do with anything?
The logical thing to have done is clamp the vehicles either by radioing it in of part of the preparedness is carry clamps on a back up vehicle.
