Edit: How does one manually embed video? My stupid self never bothered to pay attention to the coding before falling back to Stone Age hardware without the luxury of buttons. Help this poor fool out, so I don't have to beg others to embed for me.

That was a difficult one to embed. Usually you copy and paste everything after the equal sign. Took 5 tries on this one. It was worth it.

That one is a classic! For a while on the political boards I was just using onion videos as replies.

You want to highlight starting at the "9" AFTER the "v="

Highlight until you hit the "&" - so copy the "9U4Ha9HQvMo". Click the youtube button on the ATS reply (for some reason you have to then hit close, then it will prompt you to put in the abridged URL.

Complicated but once you do it a couple times you'll get it.

Ahhhhhhhh that was excellent. I knew saving that one from the initial binge was worth it! When the boyfriend representative started getting grilled... Jesus that was nerve-wracking!

When you hit "reply" on a post do you see any tools above the dialog box?

There should be options for text, inserting links, quote button, picture upload and a little square second from the right saying youtube.

If you click it, it will give you prompt that says "close". Click "close" and another prompt should pop up where you can past the copied part of the URL...not sure about phone function though. Im on a computer...

There is a large segment of folks on those threads who do not find it funny. I do and so it makes me laugh even harder when it is so spot on.
