I often wonder why they keep us around.

The Aliens I mean , I've often wondered why they have not just destroyed our self destructive selves . They are here they are watching that is for sure , maybe our current stage in development is quite natural or perhaps it isn't .

I figure we didn't have to choose fossil fuels as our power source, perhaps we could have gone a different direction. I feel like we are materialistic and selfish as a spieceies , We should be working towards spreading our wings through the Cosmos not trying to frac all the natural gas we can untill we distabilize the Earths crust.

But then sometimes I think maybe Humans have one admirable trait the Extraterrestrials seem to respect and enjoy , our ability to wright , Perform and Compose music maybe that is a uniquly human trait.

There are tons of self-aware species in the galaxy, at all levels of "advancement". We're just one of many. We'll realize that when/if we venture out into the cosmos.

We are interesting pets.

I dont buy into Angels , Watchers or God . If there is a God he is far beyond anything we can possibly imagine or contemplate.

Religion and the Bible are a big part of the Reason human beings can't move past our own self centered image and realize that the Universe is bursting with life patiently watching to see when we will grow out of our own bonds and see the light.

They are the 'caretakers' of this planet. They monitor and experiment with THEIR OWN petrie dish creative insults. They are our past; they are our future.

Food and entertainment?

They keep us around for entertainment, they are eating popcorn in the cloaked mothership watching the news and all the movies and TV shows, rebroadcasting everything back to their home world. They do not have to pay for making movies and entertainment that way, we are the entertainment. They can focus all the entertainment funds to exploring the universe.

I bet some of them watch internet porn.

They dont "keep" us anywhere.. we are above interdimensionals/aliens/whatever. We are apex predators and they are just hoping like hell we dont discover how tasty they are and where theyre hiding....

I think they are inter-dimensional.. and not extraterrestrial. I dont KNOW this, but I feel theyre the same ones that taught us the "arts" and science... and were sons of God who saw the daughters of man and thought they were hot. If these are the same.. then they are definitely more intelligent and craftier than us.

I think you are assuming too much of these entity's, what are they certainly NOT God's.

They are in all likelihood every bit as flawed as we are, many encounters seem to suggest they have weapon's as well so have a history of war among there own species and possibly with other entity's.

Why are they here is the question you would be better asking, keeping us around may be something they do not want to do but at present can not do anything about, they may want our world but others may be watching and if they act to destroy us then that would certainly give those other's including any neutral observers reason to then classify them as a threat and in turn lead to these alien's own extinction at the hand's of other races - or imprisonment for a hand full of survivors cast back into the stone age on there home world or a suitable world somewhere if that is already gone.

Let's look at the story that the US president or his representative after the second world war met with TWO different alien extra terrestrial species.

One was a race of Nordic like being's whom offered to protect us and aid us in perfecting our society, medicine and science (at our own pace so we would mature naturally) but we would have to give up our nuclear weapon's and learn to live together in peace and they would not give us THERE technology - though they would protect us from other races.

The OTHER was the so called Gray (a race we can assume from the Roswell incident to be both technically inferior to the Nordic's and also a race of clones or genetically engineered being's), in exchange for the right to abduct a few people each year for observation and testing they would share some of there technology - according to the story the US agreed in exchange for Gray Technology (probably from there respective stone age) and then the Grays whom now had a form of permission to interfere on our world or at least in the US went on to break this treatise and take as many people as they wanted performing horrific experiment's upon them and possibly creating hybrid engineered being's presumably in order to colonize our planet in the future - this according to this story led to factions in the US and other government's ending up in a secret war against these unwelcome - and frankly demonic on many occasion's - alien parasites.

The Gray's are an interesting case though as perhaps the entity's that Betty and Barney Hill encountered were NOT the same race - OR they actually were and have not broken there treatise but we have mistaken a different race whom are somehow similar for them as there are said to be several different races - or variant's - upon the gray alien form though they all seem to be a clone type being or a biological machine.

Likewise throughout human history there have been a great many entity's that today we would interpret as alien's, during Alexander of Macedon's invasion of India his army were stopped by flying shields that spooked his elephant's and troop's diving at them as they tried to cross the river, earlier in his campaign's Alexander whom believed himself to be divine or a demigod was according to another account I have read elsewhere aided in taking the city of Tyre which was almost impregnable with huge wall's when flying shields flew overhead and struck the wall's with lightning creating a breech through which alexanders army were they able to flood into the city.

The best terminology is the one currently in use UAP or unidentified aerial phenomena (since the term UFO has gained something of a crackpot reputation).

My take on it is that they are far from perfect themselves, they may not have the numbers or the resources to wipe us out with such long supply lines - assuming they still have a home world or home base and are not simply space gypsy's of some kind, if the story's of hybrid's are true this could mean one of two thing's AND both of them together as well, they could be of limited numbers and trying to create new being's out of our DNA, does this mean they are dying out and need us, they could also be preparing to wipe us out when the time is right and preparing a read made colonization force of being's that share there mindset and intelligence but have our biological adaptation to our world.

One thing is certain though they are not to be confused with angels' as most often there interactions have a more demonic than angelic element to them, they should not be ALL tarred and feathered though as some individuals even among the many species that may have individual rather than hive sentience may be good while other's may be bad just like us and of course the motivations of many of these species may be of interest, some may be here simply to observe the other's that are here and have no interest in us whatsoever except and in so far as the grays have an interest in us which would pique there curiosity as to why the grays are so interested in us, some may be here to enforce or at least observe the accordance of certain treatise among themselves but I do actually not believe they would have some form of star trek prime directive, rather I believe there motives would be self interest first and foremost but some may be more altruistic than others and some far more malignant, there may be and indeed probably are conflicts among these being's of different species.


Were our world is could actually be a kind of neutral territory or no man's land were huge alien alliances have an uneasy and often broken truce, indeed the very presence of the Grays on our world could be a breach of this and be directly putting our planet in danger of attack by other races if that is the case - races whom would not want the Grays expanding into there back yard - almost like a Cuban missile crisis of sort's.
