Could the covid-19 be .. Why the greys are here

Could the covid-19 be why the grey known as skinny Bob was sent to earth. He made claims of a virus that kills and he was back to find a cure or DNA sequence that would save the future of mankind.
Story goes that he was from our future.
I read it years ago and only now it is beginning to make perfect sense.

I don't believe "skinny bob" was an authentic alien.

If his head was tiny then it would be a different matter, but he just looked like hollywood makeup to me.

And if most grey aliens are so smart, why don't they wear clothes in so many of the pics and clips we see.

Some kind of protection from the elements, infections and perhaps a hugo boss label if they come from a staging area on the dark side of the moon where the nazis still live.

Maybe that is an outfit to protect them from disease (if from the future), or the atmosphere (if from elsewhere)

Maybe that 'Grey look' is their latest protective tech!

EDIT: Moreover, if they're from the future, then maybe that 'Grey look' outfit is not only protecting them from infection, but also an attempt to make us believe they are aliens in an effort to protect the timeline in which we don't yet have evidence of time travel.

"someone is sent back in time because bad future virus" is like the single most common time travel story trope around, our finally having the inevitable pandemic that was always going to happen doesn't make all those stories true.

Why don't they wear clothes? What in the hell makes you think you'd recognize Bob's 'clothes' if you saw them? That whole grey exterior you see as naked is Bob's kit. The nose is a rebreather. The mouth and eyes are just the outermost features of his sensory-net.
