It seems I have a heart condition. I take meds for it, mostly for BP, but also to regulate my heart beat.

I have a heart monitor, and a pulse oximeter. Sometimes I get some bad Arrhythmia. Tonight was one of those nights. My heart is clandestine, as in, it never does it when they have the EKG on me. However, now I have my own, and I've recorded numerous 'events". Sometimes I get dizzy; other times I just get tired beyond "tired".

Sometimes I think this big ol' cowboy is dying. I sure hope not, but some nights, like tonight, I sure feel like it. I've taken (20) heart rhythm samples, and every one says "possible Arrhythmia". I've taken the drugs to calm my heart, but they don't work much anymore. We're so far out in the country, no one could ever intervene. Sad, but I will either live...or I won't.

I guess I should post a message here...I love you all. Never do the things I have done. Never. They were all crazy things, never a fear.

If there's any questions, ever, I give every asset to my wife. I swear off every debt.

Admitting fault, or weakness, is hard. But there comes a time when you have to.

God Bless you all!

I can understand why you're concerned...and that concerns us all.
You're a valued part of our lives here...and we all want you around for a long, long, time.

I'll keep you in my prayers tonight.

Hang in there FCD.

I built all these things. We did. I feel so feeble now.

I don't really know what else to say.

I deny it, sometimes, but then I simply cannot deny it when my heart rate hits 139 bpm, and skipping all over the place.

I fear I am short, anymore.

I never wanted to be 100 years old, but I feel his is a little too short. Today. At 57.

It seems like you should be going to the hospital now.

A little heart hiccup is gonna take out the FCD?

Doubt it.

However you go out, I'm sure you'll have your boots on but I'm thinking today ain't that day.

Well, thanks, but that's not how it work

s out here.

We're pretty far out. Like really far out.

I never thought it would be any different, not for me, not for anyone.

Just a little hard tonight. When you feel that "fish" thumping around in your chest, and you get the head-rush and the sweats...it's the beginning of the end.

There's still animals to feed, and things to do.

Just another day.

We all have our day and our story. From what I have read of some of your posts you have quiet the story.

It's not weakness, it's inevitability. And with my imagined character in any of your writings I believe everything will turn out for the will of the Master that you serve. Bold. Caring. Honest. and Wise. That is quiet a legacy to leave to those of us who will always remember.

Your not gone yet though, and we are still here.

When did all this start FCD?

Had some pretty strange circulatory problems myself this year, which started off as what seemed to be very, very severe allergies and then worked its way through some other stuff.

Some easy stuff to try that help me:
4-6oz whole milk + some banana (calcium/potassium/magnesium/vit d)
Large doses Vit C every few hours, and enough water to "get rid of" the extra
Turmeric Tea: 1 cup water/1 cup milk/1 tsp turmeric/raw honey. Heat & stir for a couple minutes. I drink 1 batch throughout the day.

Got more, but Im not a doctor. They just failed me. Months of research later.. Here we are. Havent talked much about it..

Oh gosh, I’m so sorry to hear this! I would be so scared. I seek out your posts and love reading them.

I will say a prayer for you. I hope you can show your doctor(s) your EKG readings and maybe they can try some different things to help you. Heart disease is a real bitch. My Dad has it, and has had six or more heart attacks and quadruple bypass surgery. His doc had to tweak some of his meds, because ones he was on for years were no longer working.

Please keep monitoring yourself and take care. Please keep us all posted. I hope and pray you’ll be okay.

Dont' make me come slap your ass.

You wrestle cows and hoses and #, in 10 feet of snow. Cook mean dishes. When I mended an electric fence today likely snapped by an unsuspecting deer, I thought of you.

But sometimes I get heart flutters too. Annoying. You can FEEL it pounding but nothing you can do.

Chill. You're valued here.

You are a good writer Mr. Disk. I have always enjoyed your rambling narratives, your expressions on life's beauty as you encounter it. I hope to be reading them for some time to come brother.

You really should head in for a checkup even if it's a long drive.

One of the people I work with has such bad heart arrhythmia that he has a pace maker installed and they live monitor him 24/7 via wireless. He's gotten calls at work warning him to slow it down because his readings have ramped up to unsafe levels.

That's too scary. I don't know how he can handle that. I'd be a nervous wreck.
