Human beings are scared. It sorts of the other side of the lottery. Many people are as negative about losing the lottery and being one of those who get really sick as they are positive about winning the lottery.

One should IMO have an understanding of human nature and that most people aren’t brave and courageous but just ordinary human beings who are subject to being fearful of a pandemic that has caused 80 thousand lives in 3 months.

Of course, the tough macho men and women are so tough their not afraid of a killer virus( that BTW is mysteriously killing our young ones) but usually when the SHTF often those claiming to be so tough are actually the weak ones because they lack inner understanding, tolerance, and wisdom.

I agree with you and the more unbiased studies show that a mixed cloth mask can reduce viral input by up to 70%.

Here in CO most people are wearing it , our county put out a mandate.

For now I agree with it.

It is allowing us to go back to work, and do what we want.

130k people combined between the county I live in and the one I work in... 180 combined cases think 4 dead.

Tell me again how I should be confined to the house, odds are low that I will encounter it... in fact if I didnt work on base I never would have had the exposures I have had.

I am in my Sr years, I go out without a mask and will not be putting one on. If I put one on I struggle with my allergies and have a tough time getting air. The cure is worse than the condition.

# 1 The ONLY WAY to stay safe is live in a bubble, period end of statement. I see some Dr's and nurse wear a bubble like device on their heads. Masks are totally useless unless they provide 100 % artificial or filtered air.

#2 this one has the spinners playing with the #'s to cause PANIC!

#3 all i see out of this is our world has suffered collateral damage from the false numbers causing gov to shut down businesses world wide.

Not 100% hoax but some major BS being pumped out on the news cycle each day that causes fear and division. Just what the Marxists playbook recommend when taking over the "targeted country".

As far as Americans not wearing masks? Well, I am still self-isolating and not leaving the house but if I had to get out there there's no way I'd go out without something on my face. But it would be really nice if the stores were stocked up on the good masks and there were enough of them for everyone. Why is this so damn hard? I just don't get it. Our entire way of life is on the line and we can't mass produce n95 masks? WTF is that? We have 300+ million people basically sitting around doing nothing and we can't buid some friggin mask factories or something? If we are this impotent, I guess it's just a matter of time before something gets us.

Ive got a Stormtrooper mask(not for COVID), a Vader one would be champion all the same.

Surgeons were them to prevent large particle with bacteria from their mouth entering the patient. Works well for that. Viruses are not bacteria and act differently of course.
