First off, I know I'm late to this party.
The games been out for awhile now.
However I just recently picked it up on recommendation from some of you guys.

Well, to put it simply, I love it.
To those who recommended it to me, thank you and Curse you at the same time.
63 hours in. Level 44. And just looking at the map I've barely touched the tip of the iceberg.
This game is huge.
I know you guys said it was big, but I honestly didn't expect it to be this big.
I'd say it's bigger than Tom Clancy's Wildlands or breakpoint.
There's just so much to do its overwhelming.
Then I head to a destination with full intention on completing the mission, but then I discover a tomb, Or a city I need to explore along the way.

So I noticed there is a new quest that came up for the Atlantis DLC.
Is it worth it?

I paid $60 for a used copy of the game.
It's the gold edition case, however the code was previously used.
So Ill have to buy the DLC.
With the game being so big as it is, is the DLC just an after thought for a couple new weapons I'll never use and a piss poor story,
or is it recommended to get?

I would say yes, the expansion packs for Atlantis etc. are nice and round the game off nicely.

Excellent, I’ll get it than. Does it add a lot more to the game?
Or is it just a few quests on the existing map?

XBA Review: Assassin's Creed Odyssey 'The Fate of Atlantis'

It's rare thing when a DLC expansion manages to match the base game in delivering the same level of gratification and breadth of content. For every great expansion like The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine or, say, Mass Effect 3's farewell Citadel DLC, there are countless add-ons that fall flat, failing to hit the heights you might have hoped for. They're either too brief or lacking in some other way, shape or form; usually the aspects that made the base game so good in the first place. Not so for Assassin's Creed Odyssey's The Fate of Atlantis saga – this is a DLC story arc that delivers in spades.

The sprawling ringed city of Atlantis that Poseidon presides over is truly spectacular

Why the hell not I guess.
I would had paid full price for this game in store. The amount of content is Unbelievable.
Shut up and take my money. Lol

I have a rule of thumb :
Always get the Season Pass , DLCs , whatever , unless it is just clothes , soundtracks , or has to be played OUTSIDE of the original campaign.
