I don't think people really care if they have guns, it's WHY they had guns.

I don’t think anyone cared that they had guns...they only would have responded had they USED their guns to fire without being fired upon. Would have been a whole different story then.

Because honestly, how can one group be a militia and the other group escorting their Representative not be a militia?

If anyone protesting FOR the 1st or 2nd Amendment is branded a racist by Michigan lawmakers as they currently are, I would hope that reasoned, rational people would see an issue with this.

OK remember the BLM folks protesting police abuse?? You had some chanting fry em like beacon and being generally obnoxious and unpleasant, but according to the majority of stated opinions right here on ATS, is that they weren't just racist and anti cop , but violently racist despite evidence to the contrary and they weren't even armed.

The "hate signs" were clearly demonstrating against Nazi-like behavior democrats are showing.

I for one am happy to see armed escorts wherever they may be. We should do this sort of thing all the time.

After all, we don't live in anything resembling a safe or sane society so there's no point in pretending otherwise.

As far as BLM goes, I'm more concerned about their alliance with antifa, their support in burning down cities/rioting/etc and their objection to the all lives matter (they do,right?) movement
