"Armed activists escort black lawmaker to Michigan's Capitol..."

Well, I for one support thier 2nd Amendment rights, but part of me thinks this is being spun to further divide people by race. 🤔 I don't know.
Just something about it.
From the article:

"A Michigan lawmaker returned to the state Capitol on Wednesday with an armed security detail following a coronavirus lockdown protest at the building last week attended by white supremacists and militia groups."

I don't recall seeing anything resembling that, but I wasn't there either, so let's just roll with it, right?

"Rep. Sarah Anthony, a Democrat whose district is in the capital city, Lansing, told Yahoo News in an interview that her security detail, made up of local black and Latino activists, came together because the armed protesters bearing white supremacist symbols represented a “different level of terror."

Well that certainly was an interesting routine of mental gymnastics. I hope she didn't pull anything with that stretch.

Hopefully, this will blow over and we can forget about it. But I have a hankering suspicion, this won't end here. I feel this will be manipulated to no end.
Thoughts anyone?

If our 'lawmakers' can't even have the intelligence to do their due dilligence in tracking down who is exactly protesting, what hope do we have for this country?
The so called swastikas and hate signs were found to not be racially motivated, as is obvious to any adult who looks at the photos. It's a little something called hyperbole. Or if you like, symbolism.

I think its time America stopped separating people by colour or race except for descriptions for police purposes, and started calling people Americans. I've only noticed this so much in America, it looks like you've ALWAYS been divided regardless of civil rights or protests. Until blacks themselves stop referring to themselves as African American there will always be a divide...in my opinion

I hope not, for too many reasons to list.
I'd really like to see this happen with as little violence as possible. We must try to be decent, at least. But that said, if the SHTF in that way...I hope blue areas of the country have strong stomachs.
