You can look at any website and see that the deaths are going down. Anyone who watches the news and doesn't research is gonna get what they deserve.

The alleged reduction in mortality depends upon the accuracy of the numbers and is at best a function of small fluctuations in the value over time. As the numbers are based upon cumulative values (for both the numbers of infections and the numbers of deaths) it is highly unlikely that the percentage overall will go down. It will, instead, stabilize around a point that represents the final overall mortality percent.

isn't it rather the case that the numbers remain pretty constant? which is at least halfway positive news. but one thing even the toughest right winger won't be able to deny: america will be the country with by far the most deaths worldwide, although corona mainly hit europe. but one consolation remains: america is at number 1 on that list.

What's "pretty constant" is the lack of coverage by MSM concerning the overestimation of "death numbers" because of faulty CDC guidelines.

Why do so many people on the Left deny this fact? There's bountiful information online concerning this if you do a little research.

"In cases where a definite diagnosis of COVID cannot be made but is suspected or likely (e.g. the circumstances are compelling with a reasonable degree of certainty) it is acceptable to report COVID-19 on a death certificate as 'probable' or 'presumed.'"

the CDC's death certificate manual tells physicians to focus on "precision and specificity," but the coronavirus death certification guidance runs completely counter to that axiom.

While yesterday had the lowest death count in a month, there is still no definate downward trend in deaths. They do appear to be leveling off.
