I can't say either way honestly but I know that the hospitals in my area are not treating many covid patients.

Probably those with mild symptoms, I have several coworkers in that situation. They get treatment at home.

I triage patients everyday. My thing and I'm good at it in Emerg.

When a pandemic hits...everyone, living, injured, sick...has to be assumed infected. We really have to do that for protection when there are just too many...and we cannot test all.

So how can we believe in the numbers being reported?

Looking at the stats for yesterday at:
www.worldometers.info...

There are 20 states that reported CV-19 deaths in the single digits and 6 that reported 0 CV-19 deaths.

That kinda contradicts the claim that every death is being labeled a CV-19 death.

I wonder if the Hospital labeled it a Corvid case for the insurance padding, and the free treatment on the issue for your family? It does mess up the corona case count, but it also allows for some hospitals to treat a patient during this time of stupid. (sorry I'm a little up set that I can't get a tooth pulled, but the trash across the street was able to get an abortion because ... you know ... "blue state")

Yeah I have no idea.
Does this mean the actual death count is even lower?

No, it means that those claiming that the actual death count is even lower are not looking at the stats.

Pretty hard to get a death count lower than 0.

Update for those interested.
He does not have covid 19

“Just an update on *****. He had pneumonia which flared up fluid around his heart and he has a leaky valve. They changed his meds and the fluid is gone and he is a lot better. Hoping to come home today. “
