Would he be likely to write off international debt to the US? I'm pretty sure that it would make him very unpopular among his wealthier business associates.

If that were the case, I might even consider voting for him (except, I couldn't actually, not being an American).

Its not the fault of a nation its the fault of our eating habits. The disease like nearly 60 percent of emergent diseases was zoonotic in nature. This is basically caused by using animals as a commodity. There are many examples of such diseases coming from an array of cultures in the past. If you want to hold China to account for this then it follows that cultures in the past should also be held to account for the lagacy diseases we have today.

The truth of the issue is this is a simple diversion tactic to take the responbility away from those in western nations that should have acted a lot sooner. That is the reason why the death rates are so high in the likes of the UK and USA. A failure to act on time.

If you want something to blame for the virus then we should look no futher than ourselves. Animal agriculuture / husbandry are the primary cause and the problem could and has historically risen in different cultures. Everytime we eat that burger we play roulette with our civilisation.

Other notable examples of Zoonotics beings Sars / HIV / Avian / Influnenza / TB and swine. There are others too.
