If I catch the corona, I'm gonna strip down, lay in the sun, and enjoy a nice big glass of iced bleach.

Hydrogen peroxide as an internal disinfectant ?????

Searched for this and I quickly found this from three years ago

A swig of hydrogen peroxide — promoted by alternative-health devotees — can kill you. Hundreds of people have become severely ill and at least five have died after consuming high-concentration hydrogen peroxide that some people take as an additive to their diets, according to a new study

And immediately after that, also from three years ago

The 3 percent concentration can cause a whitening or injury of any of your digestive lining, bloating, vomiting, and slight erosion. One ounce or 30ml of the 35 percent can release 3.5 liters of oxygen as a gas. If that happens in a stomach, it can stretch and rupture it

Double derp. And Brix also went derp and the WH response went derp as did Trump this morning when he claimed that he had been being sarcastic with the media when clearly he was not talking to the media at that point but the specialists who were with him at the briefing.

However, I will say that Trump should just know better by now than to say anything even remotely speculative because he will always be taken out of context and ridiculed by those with TDS.

And just where was the ''out of context'' in his statements yesterday. No one needs to listen to the media pundits or those who you believe have TDS. All anyone should need to do is to just watch him on videos and listen to him talking. He has, you know, a ''very good, you know what''.

Or you can just jump in your chlorinated pool and take big gulp.

I'm pretty sure an ounce of salt could do serious damage too.
Nobody said a SWIG or an OUNCE..

If a tiny amount, which is what the posted said is dangerous, my entire generation would have had the negative effects.

Some city water tastes like that to me.
I'm so used to well water, city water tastes/smells like strong bleach

If Trump had said this: "It wouldn’t be through injection." in order to clarify his previous statement, would the news media have printed it or broadcast it?

ETA: Because he did say it at the presser.... not covered by the media though. See my post on page one of this thread.

I watched the press conference and I saw and heard it with my own eyes and ears. He was being SPECULATIVE about possible medical treatments.

You can argue he shouldn't have been speculating about something better left for the medical experts, but if you call what he said "stupid", I disagree.

He was not saying anything stupid, outrageous or not already being done in one form or another.

All allopathic medicine is based on treating a condition with a chemical, and almost every single drug or medicine is in fact a poison or toxin.

The idea of chemo came from the use of mustard gas that was used to kill the enemy in ww1.

anyway, laugh at people like Trump all you want, yet it is people who aren't afraid to think outside of the box who always come up with the biggest technological and medical leaps.

People who laugh, are the same sheep that are incapable of logical thought.

An ounce is a lot of liquid. Pour an ounce on your counter. It's six teaspoons.

I don't recommend gargling with peroxide, but i don't think gargling it is going to be dangerous. Drinking it, is something altogether different.

Certainly you said a tiny amount. However a ''tiny amount'' is relative I think. And I'm pretty sure that there are people who believe the old trope that ''more is better'' and could take more than what you would consider a small amount. There were after all that couple that took the industrial hydrostuff and killed themselves because the name was familiar.

I don't know either really, I"m no doctor. I do however think that suggesting anything that under vague instructions could help with a malady OR kill you if used incorrectly is unwise.

Just to clarify, when you say ''that lady'' you meant the woman who died from using the wrong stuff and not Jagstorm..I have never noticed anything suggesting that from all of her posts. Actually I find her one of the most balanced people on this site.

The lady who claimed her husband took the fish cleaner, yes.

JAGS is (probably) no less sane than any other woman (I make funny joke with you. You no need say mean, angry things back).

Well thank you

btw, I don't think the other poster meant drink it in any form, from what I understood, he meant you use it as mouthwash and some will eventually be swallowed. BTW, ever read a tube of toothpaste, it says call poison control if swallowed.. makes you say hmmmm

I've never once gotten all the toothpaste out of my mouth no matter how much rinsing. Go drink OJ afterwards for confirmation. Ergo, I've swallowed trace amounts of toothpaste and lived.

Yes, I watched the entire exchange on video and arrived at my own conclusions without the editing you brought up. I also saw his disclaimer that he was not a doctor, which was good, but that he is also a guy with '' a very good,,, you know what''.

I think that he listens to only a few people or networks and is trying to add all that he hears with his notion that he is a ''very stable genius'' with a ''wonderful brain'' and that his ideas that he formulates are somehow on the level of what specialists are studying.

Not that I blame him for that because I do that as well. I'm just not the president, I'm just a guy.

I mostly agree with you. I find him vain and tedious at times. His own worst enemy. He also isn't very articulate, but that's true of most of us speaking outside our specialities or generalists talking about ideas of specialists.

But I generally just laugh instead of working myself into a tizzy each time. The media should try it. It's good for the soul. Certainly better than manufacturing quotes out of context like "Trump called it a miracle cure"
