Never let a good crisis go to waste when you can enrich the DNC and funnel Government money to Progressive organizations. They tried and the backlash was quick. They have now backtracked and rescinded the contract after they got called out on their political scheme.

I am sure there are quite a few DNC operatives that are not happy after they were forced to cancel the contract.

Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer rushed to cancel coronavirus contracts that she awarded Democrat consulting firms after she was blasted for trying to use taxpayer money for partisan gain during a national crisis.

“The Whitmer administration announced Monday that it had awarded a contract for contact tracing in the state to Every Action VAN, an arm of the Democratic data behemoth NGP VAN. The liberal firm works with all of the major Democratic campaign committees and hundreds of labor unions across the country,”

Whitmer’s office rushed to cancel the contracts after being caught trying to funnel taxpayer money to the Democrat data group and operative.

“This contract should have been approved by the State Emergency Operations Center,” a Whitmer spokesperson told Fox News’ Gregg Re. “This issue is being corrected, and a different vendor and software platform will be selected by the SEOC.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s administration hired a tech firm known for working with Democratic campaigns to track contact information about residents as part of the state’s efforts to trace coronavirus cases.

EveryAction VAN is the campaign software arm of tech firm NGP VAN, which describes itself as “the leading technology provider to Democratic and progressive campaigns and organizations.”

Nakagiri accused the administration of concocting an “insidiously clever and deceitful way to take political advantage of the biggest public health crisis of our lifetimes,” adding that the “scheme” is an “egregious violation of the public trust.”

“It is an outrage that the Whitmer Administration would orchestrate a scheme which takes advantage of humanitarian volunteers and vulnerable citizens while eroding trust in our public health system. She needs to focus more time on resolving the COVID-19 crisis, and less time on seeking political gain,” said Nakagiri, who also serves as chairman of Livingston County’s General Government and Health and Human Services Committee.

Democratic governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan announced late Tuesday that the state was rescinding a contract to track the spread of the coronavirus that she had awarded to a Democratic consulting firm, according to Crain's Detroit.

The organization, Great Lakes Community Engagement, is run by Democratic political consultant Mike Kolehouse, who planned to use a software vendor affiliated with a Democratic data firm that is working for the governor's reelection campaign.

Whitmer's decision to hire Democratic political operatives to run a public health project sparked immediate backlash, the Washington Free Beacon reported just hours before Whitmer's office said she had terminated the contract.

The nice part about the internet is that more and more people are waking up and seeing the blatant corruption in our midst.

Not to say that the not-so-blatant corruption will ever be exposed...

But it's a good start.

Glad they exposed this crap. My hope is that this will garner more national attention, though the liberal MSM outlets probably will want to keep the voting base uninformed.

This outrages me, her using the taxpayers money to funnel money to progressive firms that in turn help fund their own sjw corrupt agenda.
