Based on results of the first round of testing, the research team estimates that approximately 4.1% of the county's adult population has antibody to the virus. Adjusting this estimate for statistical margin of error implies about 2.8% to 5.6% of the county's adult population has antibody to the virus- which translates to approximately 221,000 to 442,000 adults in the county who have had the infection. That estimate is 28 to 55 times higher than the 7,994 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the county by the time of the study in early April. The number of COVID-related deaths in the county has now surpassed 600.

Personally, I'd be very happy if this virus is not as deadly as first reported.
I'm in a demographic that does not do well with this virus.
Also, they need to do this type of study in New York. New York has a huge number of people been tested in the hospital. Does this mean that there are 50 times as many people who had mild or no symptom? New York has 252,000 confirmed cases. That would mean that there are 10 million people that have the antibodies in New York alone

This is exciting news. If the virus is more widespread then the associated death rate would need to be adjusted so the public would realize that there is less to fear from this virus...
As the new coronavirus took root across America, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sent states tainted test kits in early February that were themselves seeded with the virus, federal officials have confirmed.
The contamination made the tests uninterpretable, and—because testing is crucial for containment efforts—it lost the country invaluable time to get ahead of the advancing pandemic.
The CDC had been vague about what went wrong with the tests, initially only saying that “a problem in the manufacturing of one of the reagents” had led to the failure. Subsequent reporting suggested that the problem was with a negative control—that is, a part of the test meant to be free of any trace of the coronavirus as a critical reference for confirming that the test was working properly overall.
Now, according to investigation results reported by The New York Times, federal officials confirm that sloppy laboratory practices at two of three CDC labs involved in the tests’ creation led to contamination of the tests and their uninterpretable results.

95% of people in NY have the Anti-bodies in them already lol lol...because they already have a Bacterial form relative of the viral contaminate sized living Pleomorphic Bacteria disguised in viral size called Covid-19 in its traditional Bacterial form insitu inside them. The person being tested for the so-called viral anti-bodies ALREADY had them inside their body BEFORE they contracted Covid-19...because Covid-19 is just a gut bacteria that has morphed and went into the bloodstream in viral contaminate size to be expelled ALIVE instead of dead like other viral sized pieces of dead material... people are getting something hey have already got....lol....lol...lol...do you understand now?The nasty magic of the un-policed Pleomorphic Bacteria?
