New Member - Kreeate

Hello ATS members. I have been a long time lurker and find the topics discussed in this forum fascinating.

I'm 44 years old, and I'm a mechanical engineer in the mining industry.
I like to read ( a lot ), I enjoy wine or a good whiskey at times, and I play the odd PC game now and then.
Science, physics and related themes are of great interest to me, and I wish I had the time to get into quantum physics, even though it's way over my head.

I enjoy *UFO culture and many of the aspects related to it. Not much into paranormal stuff, but I'm open to discussion and opinions on it.

*the term UFO is often associated with anything and everything "Alien" and I severely dislike that. In and of itself, the term UFO is just that... Unidentified Flying Object. It does not necessarily imply "Alien" in any way, shape or form in my opinion. I am aware of other initialisms and prefer to use the ideal and/or suitable form of those when appropriate.

Anyhoo, I'm happy to join after many years of lurking and hope that my experience will be enhanced in doing so.

Hi. Thanks for the welcome, it is much appreciated! For me personally the lurking helped me to get an idea of the personalities and posting formats of the forum. It's diverse to say the least, but I hope to not tread on any toes as I go along
