Not only had this behind draconian is measure, but there exist no actual evidence of any lock down helping curb the spread of the disease. You have places like California, even though the governor said it was going to be awful it was not, they did lock down. Then you have Florida, they still had spring break and people on the beach partying it up, but still, there cases are relatively few.

They staged a protest in North Carolina as well. The police were called on the protesters. The Raleigh police department when asked about the encounter replied that protest was not as essential service.... The nerve...

This is going to start happening more and more, people want to get back to their normal life's. And you can't paint those people with such broad strokes. It does not mean that you don't care and want people to die just because one can see that this isn't sustainable. This is not a left or right argument, it's an American argument.

What if all the business opened up?

What would the government do?

They can flex... at least until the tendons connecting their muscles to their frame are cut free by those who value Rights and liberty above bureaucracy and the desire to see government save people from themselves. Once hamstrung, there's little they can do except beg for mercy.

I hope there are leaders there who will keep anger focused on the real targets at the top.

The last thing you want to see are neighborhood riots.

I could be mistaken in what you are trying to get across here, but those of us who are immuno-compromised can speak for ourselves.

If you are severely immuno-compromised, you should have been practicing protocols and plans for years now. If its from birth, then your whole life.

Im not severely compromised, so my personal actions reflect that and are proportional.

If someone is immuno-compromised and theyve never thought about any of this before.. Its either a brand new condition, or a "what the hell are you thinking?" situation.

It seems so many have this brand new concern about something that many of us have been dealing with our whole lives.

ETA: Also really wanted to say that doing this in cars just tickles me in all the right ways lol

Folks who are severely allergic to bee stings, obviously do everything in their power to avoid getting stung. Sometimes a few die from a sting in an unexpected moment.

Many that I see online shaming those who do not believe the healthy should be isolated as well, certainly never made a fuss about everyone should just stay inside and protect ourselves from the uncontrollable bee population just to save those few immune suppressed who may die!!!

Has the house or congress been very vocal? I haven't heard much out of them.

I just watched an interview, on the 5 pm news out of Lansing, with a state trooper.

He was surprising cool with it, and this was live. Said he saw no reason not to let them continue, and said there had only been 1 arrest, and that was of a protester, who hit another protester.

So I am cool with that guy getting arrested, as he is an idiot. lol

The on-foot rally on the capitol building steps appears to be growing in size.

Keep in mind, lurkers and naysayers, that THAT group is not the same group that organized Operation Gridlock. Different people.

Should be interesting to see what happens when this hits nightfall.

More cops, some anonymous organised trouble by covert forces perhaps...we'll see.

That's good to learn. Social media has been spreading fake news that an ambulance was blocked due to the gridlock. Thankfully, many on site provided pictures showing this was not true. The white truck that was in the image was hospital security who had blocked and directing traffic to ensure every ambulance could leave the hospital. Also other pics showed the gridlock stayed true to their goals of always leaving a lane pass through for emergency vehicles to make use of!

Must admit that I am proud of my fellow citizens and protestors. The majority planned and thought ahead ensuring a peaceful protest. Now, if only our Governor will recognize that the majority of citizens in her state actually can act responsible without a nanny controlling their every move!

To my knowledge, no. They've been far too busy making sure their crisis doesn't go to waste, trying to finalize the molding of the US into a socialist #hole to actually comment on the direct violations of the Constitution the states and city leaders are frollicking around doing.

Man is Whitmire P.O 'd at the people out of their vehicles.

"They are going to cause us to possibly locked down longer"

As she wipes the foam from the corner of her mouth.

I can't wait to read how mad she is going to be in May.
Hopefully EPIC meltdown.

If they find themselves having trouble seeing in the dark, I'm sure there are abundant materials to produce firelight in the vicinity of the protests.

Oh yeah, she was trying to tug the heartstrings AND guilt people at the same time. Talk about being a scowling, pissy bitch about it.

Didn't work. Her manipulation attempt is as transparent, and of as much substance, as air.

Oh, and don't forget,

"and, and, they had confederate flags!

I mean seriously, the world is going to end for sure now, as some protesters had confederate flags.

Anyone else think she is complete ignore the point. Not that she doesn't know what it is, but she is ignoring it.
She reminds me of another governor that was good at ignoring us.
Engler maybe.....
