Honestly, I think, in the interest of saving face, the local Gov officials will let this slide with little interference. They have to understand that this stirring of the hornet's nest will have lasting ramifications on thier optics going forward.
Better to be Ghandi than Ghengis and risk "moral high ground".
I use the phrase in the lightest means possible.
But alas, let's see what happens.

In a way I agree with what you're saying... in this case it would have been a lot more impactful and sent a stronger message to have blocked the streets around the hospital. Embargo it, completely, then we'll see how much that governor really means it when she says it's all about saving lives.

That would be an interesting escalation.
But would most see it as a "call thier bluff" type moment when the power of broadcast isn't in the hands of the people?
The distortion of any message is inevitable.
I'm not sure you'd be getting what you'd want in that situation in my opinion.

As I've said before, this put as much a damper on my modus operandi, as it were, as much as a rain cloud. It stopped nothing for me. But that's not whom I'm concerned with. I've purposely isolated and insulated myself as a somewhat introvert.
But my children, my family, my friends...

Personally, I don't see these actions as ineffective, despite the dampened impact of there being little traffic to disrupt. But that also ensures, at least IMO, that this all can happen with minimal negativity and bad optics.
A positive and firm message is being sent.
We should see it and respect as that.
I think it a benchmark.
Perhaps even a harbinger.
