The United Kingdom has said that the idea that the virus, which has turned into a full-blown global pandemic, was leaked from a Wuhan lab is "no longer being discounted."

State Department leaked cables renew theories on origin of coronavirus

Well some of us feel a bit vindicated here.... I have been working on this since January and was told I was crazy for making this claim....

Tom Cotton also stated from the beginning that this was not a simple case of animal-to-human transmission from a wet market. Just saying....

Wanted to comment on this too....

Despite evidence that points to dangerous practices inside the Wuhan labs, top U.S. military brass, as well as other senior officials, have told Fox News that the origins of COVID-19 did not come from a laboratory nor was it the result of a bioweapon.

Let me start by saying "what do you THINK military brass is going to say in response to this question?" Of course they will say it isn't a bioweapon.... When has the military ever given a straight response to anything?

But take a moment to do some critical thinking here.... Why do you think a Chinese lab would be doing testing on coronavirus?

The question, for me..at least...has always been whether it was an accidental release or a purposeful one.

The real proof is how China has been throwing shade in every direction except the Wuhan biolab. They've blamed bats, pangolins, the United States, Canada, and most recently Italy (yes, Italy).

At absolutely no point has the Chinese government granted even one word of discussion about the biolab -- that experiments on animals -- that is literally across the street from where the outbreak began.

There's your proof. It's the official version of a kid desperately pointing and shouting "Look over there!" while hoping you don't notice the broken lamp behind him.

The corona virus origin doesn't interest me as much as the source of the panic. It certainly started in China, but it doesn't feel like a one nation game. So I'll keep my eyes and ears open until I know better

The lab should be incinerated along with staff. But it won't. As for the Generals, it's our policy to not Telegraph our intentions...... that was made clear by President Trump. Likewise our intelligence.

Vindicated how? Nothing in that article proves that the virus escaped the lab in Wuhan. It's just a theory, nothing else. While I also think that there is something gfishy about the virus, there is still no proof what so ever that it was created in a lab.

From what I understand it was accidental, what I wonder is should the USA as well as other countries consider that an act of war? A worker at the lab became infected (different stories on how that happened but regardless it did) they also visited the wet market most likely handled something there which in turn started the spread, and now, here we are.

'Patient zero' as they noted, has not been seen or heard from since the accident at the lab. I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows where this virus came from. Nice thread. S+F.

I agree and this has been harder for me to put my head around....

I've always felt the response indicated that governments knew this wasn't a run of the mill "flu bug". The response indicates to me they knew it was maybe weaponized or man made in some fashion.

The response came off like "Oh sh*t, this crazy flu virus we created got out! Lock everything down!"

Nancy Pelosi held the Trump impeachment articles for weeks, until covid-19 was implanted here in America. Let that sink in.

When you are investigating a theory...whether in government, intelligence, or even every day life....you have to start pulling together evidence. When you are dealing with matters of state secrets or national security, that evidence is rarely ever just laying around for someone to openly point to it or reference it.

Even within government, everything is compartmentalized on a "need to know" basis.

There are many sources of information that are being skimmed and search to identify potential evidence by literally thousands of government and private contractor workers here and abroad. This "leaked data" is just an example of one of them...

Yes, I know...but just because the Democrats did not acknowledge the virus doesn't mean that others within the government weren't aware and scrambling to understand the implications.

I've also found it most interesting to see who HASN'T had serious rates of infection.

It is my complete speculation that whomever created this virus (and/or weaponized it, if they did...) may also have a cure or a vaccine. I have no proof of that speculation...but just a thought.

So does anybody know how to find out how many people died of the regular flu today or doesn't that happen anymore??

With all due respect.....
f leaked cables from the uk
from your link:

The United Kingdom has said that the idea that the virus, which has turned into a full-blown global pandemic, was leaked from a Wuhan lab is "no longer being discounted."

A member of the U.K. government's emergency committee of senior officials claimed Sunday: "There is a credible alternative view (to the zoonotic theory) based on the nature of the virus. Perhaps it is no coincidence that there is a laboratory in Wuhan."

the last time we got "leaked cables" from the uk and 5 eyes we ended up with 3 years of investigation that ended up being bullcrap
so f cables from the uk and 5 eyes

it appears to me we are being persuaded towards war with china
that imo would not do anyone any good

Yeah.. This whole "origins of the virus" thing absolutely reeks of the same stuff we saw with WMDs in Iraq.

They have WMDs!
They dont have WMDs!
Wait.. They do!
Oh.. They dont..
But wait, they did!

The virus is manmade!
Its natural!
Wait.. It came from a lab!
Oh.. Maybe not..
Is so!

But wait.. Theres more!

Never trust the Commies. I'm finishing up work, so can't link anything. I've seen many articles, possibly scrubbed by China. Two under grad microbiologists infected people last summer. Pretty sure a different virus, but not following decontamination protocols.
The two scientists reported on where the bats came from, back in December, 500 miles from Wuhan.
Dead test animals sold to Wuhan market.
Look at their manufacturing pollution alone, does anyone think they care about their people or the world?

No question in my mind that crap came from that lab in Wuhan. I've known it instinctively all along and have maintained that the entire time, I even tell people I know "I think that it got out of the lab in Wuhan." and people agree. I believe firmly that China took the oppurtunity, whether it was a complete weapon or a nastier version of the virus they engineered for study, pandemics don't take 90 days to go from patient zero to infecting the entire world. The nastiest viruses known to man don't spread that quickly: west nile virus, bird flu, ebola, and every variant took anywhere from one to four years to play out and they never reached the levels that COVID-19 has, as it relates to how far out it has spread, in such a short period of time.

Not to mention how it just magically evolved from bat-to-bat to bat-to-human and finally human-to-human transmission in a supposedly short period of time. From bad meat sitting in an open market? Straight up lies. We know what happens when meat goes bad, it stinks, there's lots of bacteria and you definitely wouldn't want to eat it, but it isn't creating extremely virulant strains of COVID that spread around the world in 90 days. If that were the case, then every bit of carrion, road kill, animal that dies in the wild is a risk for creating pandemic and common sense would tell you that's not true.
