I've been staying what others have been saying, but was my own "street talk" about a 3 year recycle of interruptions of freedom around the world.
1. my understanding is this: no new American passports are being issued
2. embassies are issuing renewed passports of Americans in foreign countries, but currently an "non binding " order has been given to leave the foreign country you are in or face INDEFINITE stay in the country you are in (this includes MIM too )
3. Is it true that the Chinese are still allowed to fly into America ?

Get prepared for the 3 year. I understand schools are closed in Los Angeles ? Home studies ?
Tokyo University is all online now. No attendance at schools.

This all because of the "China Flu" . Unlikely. Some one knows some dangerous stuff out there.
Was this the "kill switch" of that one guy who hung himself in New York jail ?

Amen Brother. Let's demand they figure it out.

What's there to figure out?

It a massive logistical and social problem and we have the capacity to easily come up with ideas that will kill this virus in 6 months and everybody will get back to work. NO ECONOMIC DISASTER

Do you guys understand the scandal is that WE HAVE THE CAPACITY TO EASILY LICK THIS PROBLEM.

Not sit and watch the media 24 7 frighten the balls off everybody waiting for some curve to flatten.

We have a nation of 350 million people. The most intelligent, educated, powerful, rich country EVER!

USE OUR RESOURCES

If it's so easy why hasn't anyone done it yet? Maybe Trump or someone should tell these guys to hurry up and figure this stuff out PRONTO! last time I went to the grocery they didn't have much so these geniuses you keep talking about better get a move on POST HASTE! Quit their bull#ting around.

Maybe we aren't as smart or good as we think. Didn't we give China all of our manufacturing ability and then when they got sick we were show out of luck because we forgot how to do anything without the help? Like when your domestic servant takes a day off and you can't find # because you forgot because they always did it while you were on Twitter?

You have system experts who could run a Computer program and a few minutes have a plan in place, and it will be a good plan because they have AI, and all kinds of Intelligent computing power that can figure this out. As well, they have human intelligence and the capacity to form a plan to easily beat this ting.

The basic problem is were ONLY dealing with this from a medical perspective which doesn't take in the broader issues.

We need an integral, holistic approach. As of now, we're only dealing with it from a narrow perspective.

Computer programs, few minutes, AI, solve all our problems......

Best joke post of 2020 right there......I never thought old Bill Gates had that type of sense of humor.

It’s very simple.

You know that’s a mystery to me. We know Trump is not a broadly intelligence person. He doesn’t have any knowledge of AI or the science of system analytics that should be applied to this in an integral and holistic sense to at least form a plan of action. It would put all the elements of the problem into the equation and come up with a scientific plan of action.

These dumb ass politicians aren’t even talking about that

Here’s what I’m talking about:

hbr.org...

linkHow can we get there?

We believe the answer lies in computation. We need to put as much data and computing power into the problem as we can, and now. Here’s a hopeful scenario we’ve discussed, one we believe could, with focused effort, be operational by summer.

This is america....

one month news cycle....

most people can't even remember a year ago, but they are supers smart and social media political pundits to all their "dumber" friends.

I actually think a red dawn scenario at this point would be an economic/national boom to this country.

Quoted for a God-like level of AI.

Artificial Intelligence.

You are officially the ATS poster child of that phrase now.

I'm beginning to think that scenario is our only real way forward as a country now.

The virus apparently isn't killing stupid people fast enough.

Go Wolverines!!!

After 18 months of this will there even be an economy to go back to?

Nope.

Just tonight, in my state, a storm system moved through dropping tornadoes on folks. Her Majesty, the Governor Queen of Alabama, had to sign an Executive Order amending her previous Executive Order to allow people to evacuate if in the path of a tornado. Then the tornado shelters could unlock their doors and let people in... but only if you have face masks! Otherwise, I guess you just got to play with the twisters.

Now we have a few towns that had their guts ripped out, chewed up, and regurgitated in random order. We have people without homes, because what was their home now looks like a giant chainsaw-wielding maniac was trying to play Jenga with it. Where do they go? Hotels? Nope, they're not "essential." Do they rebuild? Gonna be hard if they're not an "essential employee" somewhere. Where do they eat? Restaurants are closed, and most fast food places won't let you walk up to the drive-through. So I guess they can just go somewhere and eat cake...

People are being fined and/or quarantined (placed in solitary confinement) for practicing their religion on the most hallowed day of the year.

I am hearing some restaurant owners say they already will not be able to re-open. In another month, we'll lose even more. That's jobs for people to do and get paid. That's business people who will now be looking for a job along with their ex-employees. Movies are being released direct to pay-per-view now, so what is there for the movie theaters to show when/if they re-open? And with all these people out of work, who is going to be able to buy stuff anyway?

This was a bone-head idea from the start. A quarantine is not ordering people to stay at home... it is where an infected person is so contagious that everyone who comes into contact them will die and thus they are kept in a sealed environment with absolutely zero contact with others for a specified length of time so they can't possibly spread a disease that is certain death. This is no quarantine; it is a power grab by a bunch of politicians with delusions of adequacy and a thirst for power.

And if we don't wake up and take our country back, we won't have a country to wake up and take back. I'm not even sure there's enough left to take back now... in another month there certainly won't be.

I wonder what the official line will be when all these medical professionals who have no idea how people get things like food realize they can't get food because the economy collapsed while they were playing hero?

No, the joke son us.

They use AI and now they have great technological advances and they can solve this.

I've been waiting for the ideas of applying this complex but solvable problem to our advanced technologies but I hear nothing from the PTB.

This is a logistical, fairly complex problem that can be easily solved with some DATA analysis.

Now here you are WITH YOUR OWN GD CAPS HYSTERICS.

Get a grip man, don't you know there's a super deadly pandemic going around? It's probably watching you from outside your window this very moment just waiting for you to slip up and touch your face.

There is no AI. There is only a computer program that does math equations quickly and accurately and follows exact directions programmed into it. No computer known to mankind has imagination or independent thought ability.

If they seem intelligent, it is because the programmers tricked you into thinking they seem intelligent. Do something unexpected and the computer is stuck.

Can't YOU just rent some time on AWS or Azure? You seem to have this pretty well figured out. Now you are just down to the number crunching. You will be a hero if you are the first to figure it out.

You just don't use AI, in fact they have many DATA computing capacities to solve this issue. Where just not using them. They're letting the politicians, who are fully ignorant, and experts from one perspective---medical technology, run this sad show.

It s a multifaceted problem that computing can at least give us viable ideas.

You are the reason I'm not coming on ATS for a few days.

The level of sheer stupidity your posts contain hurts my brain.

That there is a person that is smart enough to get on the internet and be able to type but yet posts what you do just makes me think that civilization as we know it needs a hard reset.
