This means social distancing is not that good. We need to quarantine the Amazon Rain Forest.

I think we should all each a get a trillion dollar stimulus check, pick a planet and take a 14 day planetcation.

That will do it.

A curiousness behind seeking it out in the jungle, whereby tabs on the indigent may not have been common practice up til now?

Heck, if the news spread the impeachment failure so hard they should spread the word on what justice is sure to follow for such matters.

Twilight zone

Yeah. Something is amiss here. Either there's a connection they're missing somehow or our scientists can't find their asses with all their hands. Neither would surprise me, TBH. But most likely this is some kind of shock journalism.

There sure are..

Public perception has been shaped to see coronavirus = covid19 though.

Im sure its just a silly coincidence. Just like the distinction between dying with coronavirus and dying from coronavirus.

Seems like some see it all as a distinction without a difference. Im not a doctor though, so..
¯_(ツ)_/¯

Will you give a little more context to these two statements?

www.survivalinternational.org... it was the yanomami tribe the kid was from.

THIS IS A SNIPET FROM THE LINK

Thousands of gold-miners are now working illegally on Yanomami land, transmitting deadly diseases like malaria and measles and polluting the rivers, fish and forest with mercury. Some Yanomami living in communities near mining hotspots have dangerously high levels of mercury in their bodies.

They're not remote as we think.

Just like the kid got checked by a modern institution then he or someone near him has had to have interacted with an infected person...

Or we're in the twilight zone.

Just hope the kid gets healed

The problem I see is that these tribes are extremely close to each other and if it's Covid like they say and as contagious as it is it could wipe the tribe out .

I'm not saying this is what happened but we can't rule out that government's like to experiment on small isolated populations.

There is a far more important question to ask.

Why are tribes in the Amazon being tested for covid-19 and who was the idiot that thought it up??!

I think it's because he got admitted to the ICU.

Coronavirus doesn’t make it Corvid19. That’s the problem with all of this, per the media every Coronavirus test result is automatically Corvid19, when in reality there are like seven Coronavirus’s out of four main sub-groupings.

They are that isolated.

However, they are connecting more and more with the outside world as a means to survive.

Their rivers (their life "blood") are being contaminated by illegal mining. There's a serious problem with mercury poisoning.

Schools are being built and the children are being taught Spanish, so they can communicate with the main population and also be their own voice in government.

I've followed the Yanomami for awhile.

YES! Their way of life is being threatened.

Outside groups are working with them to have a stronger representation in government.

I refer you back to my ignored and overlooked thread from 2008. Of course the original source article is gone now.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — The Brazilian government will begin using a plane equipped with body-heat sensors to locate — and protect — uncontacted Indian tribes in the Amazon, officials said Tuesday.... "It will be an excellent new tool that will enable us to help them," Vaz told The Associated Press.
