What are your qualifications to verify and explain a “computer” generated model?

What are your qualifications to dispute it ?

There has been evidence for a few weeks of some people being infected twice.

Firstly, this asshole, had/has no business being a journalist in the first place, he's either ignorant or an idiot, either way:

Alex Berenson, former New York Times reporter ... observed on Twitter on Monday: “It’s over, guys. It’s already over.”

Secondly, I posted this thread a few weeks ago, in which a South Korean professor (with 30 years experience in contagious diseases), explicitly says, and it may not be the news that everyone wants, that this virus can reinfect those who have already been infected.

Thirdly, instead of posting idiotic crap such as that 5G rubbish, or bleating your own political, unfounded agenda against China, focus what little critical and rational thinking you have into facts

there are other people - who claim - that the test for N19COVID - is " not specific " - and gives false positive results forom a number of corona virus clades

so - if you believe the above - there is no " re-infection " - just a 2nd infection of a diferent strain

Everyone needs to stop being scared. Letting fear control your life will cause you or the person you are scaring to make bad decisions.

Fear mongering will cause suicides to go on the rise.

You dont want to be responsible for that do you?

Why doesn't everyone just Chill out and stay calm.

Be happy you are alive.

Here is my take on it all....and it kind of explains what might be happening to people and why they get re-infected...why the"immunity card" doesn't come into play.

Excellent thread OP.

So you don't think that CoVID lays dormant in a person?
And don't say improper testing or defective tests, because these countries have corrected those mistakes.

Clinical characteristics of the recovered COVID-19 patients with re-detectable positive RNA test

Cases of COVID-19 reinfection reported. Does that shatter immunity hopes?

Look at THIS, Hundreds of CoVID-19 virons pour out of an ruptured infected cell.

They massively reproduce by the hundreds within a cell, undetected, until they burst forth invading your heart and lungs, while other infected cells, like a Trojan horse, wait to attack at another time!

51 recovered coronavirus patients in South Korea test positive again after release from quarantine.

COVID-19: Can you get reinfected?
Professor Raina MacIntyre from UNSW Sydney answers more questions on COVID-19, specifically about reinfection of the virus.

I can't get the video to work so you will have to use the link.

Your analysis sounds like an old horror movie but is what I heard from a former gov insider: that it is a population reducer additionally. Been following C Virus news since early Jan.- it was publicized then that tests were producing false positives and false negatives. Also that if one gets it a second time: more likely to be fatal. Also asymptomatic ones could pass it.

Tragic that an asymptomatic zoo keeper infected tigers in NY zoo. Looking into the eyes of that infected tiger gave me chills. Remember Zoo tv series? Feral cats being killed in Australia. In W Coast news it is being said that if one takes a dog for a walk, dont let anyone pet it - can bring virus into the house. Maybe that is why more pets are being abandoned and will be, also due to national food insecurity showing up on news yesterday San Diego to Nebraska to E Coast. a reply to: FormOfTheLord

Sick of fear mongering and generalisation about other posters. I have done so much research, I have pages filled with scientific papers, article from good sources and of course I also have a degree in a biological field and I worked in laboratories.
And I am telling you that reinfection is frigging NORMAL. A bad flu can come round once, twice or three times. Nothing new nothing earth shattering, no reason to keep us all illegally locked up in prison.
You can stay in of course but everyone must stop making this out to be different. Worse in many ways -yeah but definitely not different to any frigging flu before or ever after.

I need to go out and get my freedom back. Yes I will take my chances happily. I am vulnerable and I don't give a damn. Again even if I get it, I will survive very probably and if not then so frigging what? It's better than being locked into your own home and being treated like a retarded toddler that is naughty and a killer if they want to get some air.

I am an animal. I am a creature of Nature. I need to go outside and be free. I have done nothing wrong nor committed any crime. There is no evidence that staying in makes this any better. Sweden has no lockdown and their numbers [just as everyone else's in the northern hemisphere] are going down because flu season is OVER.

Wherever the winter season is starting now will get it worse now. Because it's just a frigging flu.
Any flu will stay with you forever if it's been about. Every flu can lay dormant in your heart muscles and strike 20 years later. Stop making this one out to be different.

I can tell you exactly in all detail what a virus is, what a flu virus is, where it connects, what it does to your cells and body responses. I can tell you how the tests work in minute detail and what they actually show.

You are falling for fear mongering by people you regard like gods because they work in the field. Let me tell you that they don't know that much more. And most that you hold so high can even be wrong! Shock Horror a god can be wrong?

Yes, especially when the findings and opinions of rational, often more intelligent 'gods' are suppressed and you as a desciple don't get to hear their side.

The worst is fear mongering. Instead we need to stop this crap. First or secondary or tertiary infections, so frigging what? Be careful, be mindful, keep clean, protect the vulnerable but get out there and face the music and develop immune cells.

We need the economy going, we need happiness. This will help you get through this illness. Instead we are deprived of Vit D and worried, which will weaken any immune system.

I will not hold back any longer. We need out, we need to go back to work and back to normal. ANd no we don't need any desperate try to worry us even more by people who really don't know what they are talking about.

Are these folks shedding the virus? In other words, are they still contagious to others?

And are they symptomatic? Are they themselves becoming sick again?

I really don't care about the test itself. What is the actual threat for the patients and others?

so here is the thing. Covid is known for its quick mutagenic capability. Meaning, that it evolves pretty quickly from one version to another. You body, fights the original virus because it detects a foreign agent and attacks it. So you can recover from the original infection, however if it mutates in you, you could be susceptible to the next wave as the first wave dies off. You can also be cross infected by another person with a different version then the version you had, which makes it doubly hard to kick. This is why they are pushing the social distancing, as it forces different versions to stay in pockets, such as just your community. If however, someone from CA went to NYC, or vice verse, you can see cross contamination between the 2 hotspots, and just as they calm down, they turn around and spike back up. This is the issue now with all the hotspots in major cities with airports, and why they shut down much of the travel. This is also why you see so much infection in cities, as there are more bodies, and more ability for different versions to grab a foothold, which leads to multiple versions attacking the same body, or the same community. Don't know what the answer is, but I equate Covid to the cold in the sense that you can never eradicate it as it mutates too much. I know there is research out there to invent a vaccine, don't know the science behind it, but I would say they are in for a tough time. Time will tell. In the mean time, best everyone can do is stay away from each other, let it die out. Unfortunately, we have too many stupid people that won't do that. For me, I guess all I can say is good luck, if you are going to infest your community, I guess there will be a purge of the stupid people first, followed by their family, healthcare, police, fire. I can see stability breaking down over time due to this. Kinda like how you saw protestors infecting themselves with zombie viruses because they want to protest the government killing zombies(In movies). Same rule applies to Covid that they do to Zombie Land.

1.) Double Tap- Take your vitamins, eat healthy
2.) Beware of Bathrooms- They are invested with all kinds of germs. Covid is not an exception
3.) Buckle Up- Last thing you want to do is go to the hospital because of a car accident in the middle of thins
4.) Travel Light- Leave your phone at home, wear a mask, gloves, use a CC or Debit Card. Cash carries germs
5.) Don't be a Hero- Don't risk your own life just to make yourself look good. There is a time to travel and take pictures, today is not that day.
6.) Limber up- Exercise keeps you healthier
7.) When in doubt, know a way out- If you got to go to someplace, be aware of your surroundings
8.) Buddy system- keep an eye on your neighbors and what the hell they are doing. If they are always out, best to stay away, if they are like minded, good to partner up for runs. Ex: if you are going to the store, get their groceries too so they dont have to go out, vice-verse
9.) Check the back seat- Be aware of what you are bringing into your secure space. Those gloves and mask you wore in the store, should be in the trash at the store, not in your car.
10.) Enjoy the little things- Most of us have been stuck for 2-3 weeks now, figure something out to keep you sane.
11.) Don't scare survivors- Bill Murray got shot in the chest for acting like a zombie, coughing over vegetables in the store can get you arrested. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, like a fine or jail time.

P.s. the doom porn is old now; we’ve moved on. The cats out of the bag, the # has been cleaned off the fan....

Well at least the hysteria part; the economy from a grave overreaction is still very much a problem and I will direct my attention to that “actual” threat. Thanks though you’ve been super helpful.

Time will tell, and it's your cliché "doom porn" that is old.
I back up what I say, with links, so that intelligent people can read and comprehend it themselves. How or what you choose does not effect me.

My qualifications are a sound mind, and critical thinking; also most evidence of this comes from China, which is like a modern day Nazi Germany. Furthermore, a lot of viruses can reinfect/comeback that doesn’t mean it will be any worse. My point is the media and medical field has been proven wrong; over and over about all aspects of this entire “viral” debacle. The predictions, the symptoms, the precautions, the fact that politicians in a time when “the greatest threat to our country” happened... they chose to argue and bicker over money for frivolous and fickle things.... if this was an actual “warzone” or it needed to be taken care of with haste; it wouldn’t have been taken care of and paraded around like the “time to make some changes/powergrab” card that it is/was.

From the article you posted:

There remains a lot of uncertainty, but experts TIME spoke with say that it’s likely the reports of patients who seemed to have recovered but then tested positive again were not examples of re-infection, but were cases where lingering infection was not detected by tests for a period of time.
