The Stranglers (who also nicknamed themselves 'The Men In Black' as a band) began a foray into the UFO-MIB field with "Meninblack" from the 1979 album, 'The Raven'. Two years they dedicated an entire album to the topic, 'The Gospel According To The Meninblack'.

The wittiest track was "Just Like Nothing On Earth"; here's a rough-around-the-edges live version...

Let's just say it's a 'grower'.

I cant find the album at the moment however _ Axis Bold As Love _ In the intro has some interesting ummm... vibes of Jimi of course. Something about a concert somewhere (great album anyways) and the drummer. Who knows ?
