They are nuts. So they are going to nationalize all these businesses so the government can turn all of them into worthless, bloated piles of # too?

I'd argue amazon isn't necessary infrastructure.

I haven't bought a thing from them in years.

Also, they are a bit late. His wife took half of that, but I guess it seems only fair the government takes his half.......

Apparently there jealousy of people that are actually good at what they do and in return get rich never ends. There is no bottom to the stupidity of the left. The economy has one foot in the grave and they are standing behind it trying to poke it in the behind.

The whole progressive mindset is a race to the bottom where everyone's life totally sucks and nothing works right but we will all somehow be happily miserable together when we all have a hand out behind for a morsel of food.

We have capital gains tax, income tax and a whole host of other taxes. Part of the problem is that when the war is over, those taxes and bureaucracies aren't relinquished nor is there a penalty for not doing so. Ffs were redoing 2008 all over again and just like last time, there will be no jail time and more bailouts

Amazon is one of the most successful business's in the WORLD.

Imagine, just imagine, how amazing it would be if it was under government control....

Amazon, UPS and FedeX emerged because of the inefficiency of the Postal Service. People were willing to pay for it because they were sick and tired of the US Postal Service. These services are not the enemy. The Postal Service is the enemy because they waste money and have no ability to react to make changes because they do not care.

As a walmart stock holder, I'd agree with nationalizing amazon.

It would give me a 10, or 20, bagger overnight....

People need to read books, not the crap ones(from commies) but the ones with real info in them.

I want to go to my local store and pick out my food. Shopping online sucks. I check out the marbling in the bacon and check which head of lettuce is better, I check the potatoes and onions. I check cans for dents and check expiration dates. I handle everything, if I get sick, everyone gets sick.

Lol don't get too excited. The day after they Nationalized Amazon they will go after Walmart and each store will have 1000 employees per shift doing nothing but being rude to the customers, but they will all be paid 100k a year and top of the line health insurance. Then when they loose their ass there will be a $1000 a box cereal tax, but of course they will be shocked when people start selling cereal on the black market. And if we don't buy cereal with the tax we will hate babies and every non white race and how dare we be a tad peeved when the illegal immigrants are given free cereal.

Walmart is close to a Government agency. A large portion of their income is from food stamps, which by the way the #1 food item purchased with food stamps is soda. How is that possible? That would be soda lobbyists making it happen.

I don't shop at Walmart or buy soda. I would rather pay more for better quality goods online and better quality food from my local grocer or Whole Foods. When a government takes over anything in any country the quality and service go away immediately. Screw this author, Walmart and soda companies.
