Hitting a satellite is actually comparatively easy. It's fast, yes, but it can't maneuver and is on a predictable path. It's just a matter of putting a KV in the right place at the right time.


Oh ok I see, Basically put a missle in the same orbital path as the satellite and boom . It could theoretically hit the satellite on a Parallel path instead of a horizontal interception which I would think is much more difficult.

You have several options for interception. The easiest is to use a KV with an explosive warhead. You basically throw a large amount of debris in the direction of the satellite. That gives you the most options for interception angles.

Your second option is a kinetic KV. That's what the BMD program uses. You either fly the KV into the target, or it unfurls what's basically a metal net as it approaches. The net then hits the target, causing anything from total destruction, to damage that leads to total destruction.
