Riiiiight. I beg to differ. You replied to my post, and quoted it, stating that it was "not an exaggeration actually" when that poster compared this to a super volcano explosion.

At least admit that.

N95 mask have a LIMITED shelf life.

The biggest problem is the elastic bands that break down in only a couple of years.

The US would have to redesign the N95 for long term storage with something like velcro straps.

It would be a lot cheaper in the long run to build a reusable new type system like a full head hood with supply air and N100 protection for medical and first responders

Same way any prepper does it. Get a full inventory, then rotate the items out for new stock when needed. Take the older stock and give/donate to organizations that can use them, or provide them for sale to State level groups, then offer them to the public for purchase (if not a controlled item)
