I do, and I am absolutely being careful... but I dont believe anyone should have their personal movement restricted, their religion shat on, their business shuttered, or their freedom to associate blocked to protect someone in my house who is ultimately my household's responsibility to shelter from this.

Too late. Fear is a bigger virus than the virus. The worst examples of frightened sheep are those spying on their communities and contacting authorities like pseudo-Sonderkommandos to maintain the insanity like good little elves.

Being fearless means herd immunity whilst protecting the vulnerable; the world keeps turning.

We've chosen economic suicide instead. Those were the two choices. Some medical experts supported the tried and tested former option, some the latter unprecedented, incredibly dangerous measure.

One option is WRONG, and the world chose WRONG, even though the UK began with the first and then caved in to the second for no logical reason I can discern except that everybody else was doing it. Genius.

Naturally I hope I AM wrong. I wish that with all my puff; hell, this is one argument I do NOT want to win under any circumstances and hope that Phage, UK Truth etc and all other vocal government policy supporters are right when we emerge from the other end of this chaos.

Don't worry. Since the "world chose WRONG" you will always be able to take that stand because there is no way to know what the consequences of choosing (your) "right" would have been. It was nothing but computer models and speculation anyway.

Take comfort. You can always say yours would have been the better plan and be sure that you were right. Even if it was no plan, after all.

It's not just you though! There must millions of people in America with health conditions that would mean getting the virus is dangerous. On top of that, there must be millions of people in America who do have loved ones/family memberd with health conditions, hence its important we do this.

If everyone carried on about their business, not giving a crap about the virus, then hundreds of thousands will die. The only reason that is not the case at the moment, is because your government, like other governments, have implemented this lock down.

Please share any other way we can slow this virus down that does not involve some sort of lock down?

Aha, ok, we shall see what causes more deaths. The virus or the depression the government is sending many into. How many businesses are getting shut down and people losing EVERYTHING, and those who struggle to even put food on the table. Do you think the government will PAY for all this?

Do you think that electric companies will stop asking people to pay the bill during the crisis? No, for them its buisness as usual, same with walmart and the BIG corporations that are still open. How many people will starve because they cant buy food because they cant work?

Just something to think about. Your government will kill more people than the virus. Mark my words. and people are already getting desperate. Expect riots soon if this continues because sooner or later people will have had enough when hunger sets in.

The economy eill be hit harder in the long run if people still went about their business. The only reason it's not tens of thousands in America is becsuse of the lock down.

Whst would happen to all your hospitals if there was no lockdown? They would collapse under pressure. Not just because of the virus, but the normal day to day stuff they also have to deal with! Then you will start seeing riots in the streets. You think hospitals would be able to handle all of this? They would crumble in a matter of weeks!

Did you read what I wrote? The economy would be worse off! The hospitals will crumble in a matter of weeks! Which means other people will health conditions will not be seen, which means thousands of more deaths!

In the last 24 hours, almost 1000 American people have died from the virus, and thst eill rise in the coming weeks. Imagine how high it would be if people went about there day, and all business were open.

It's not rocket science!
