I like that attitude.
People seem happier in my neck of the woods too.

No need to panic. No need to conspire.
It's just. A. Virus. A bad one sure. But it is what is.

I stand by about China being a real (bad word) about this though. That I can get behind.

Let me sum it up :
From the book Wizard's First Rule (and the first in the Sword of Truth Series) by Terry Goodkind.
The Wizard Zed explaining how most magic works....

"Wizard's First Rule: people are stupid." Richard and Kahlan frowned even more. "People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."

“Do you smell something boiling?...
“I think the water just got warmer....”

“Nope, I just peed.”

“Oh you silly frog”
“Well, let’s go back to floating on our backs.”

Do you believeee in life after the bug??

I believe in life during the bug.

Honestly, couldn't be better.

No tourists, garden looking great, stocked larder, fun on ATS, daily geography lessons, baking more, etc etc.

Why can't it always be like this?

We are having fun too
I just got back from the garden shop, and my potato plants are growing about 6"daily. I think I want to retire now. I bet alot of Baby Boomers wont be going back to work either. They are spoiled now

Awesome stuff!
I've got a few sprouts coming up as well. As a matter of fact, I've planted some crocuses a while back and they're looking quite nice already. Spring is certainly here.

Slice some up leaving the skin on them
Put them in a cool , dry place .
Watch em sprout "eyes"
Plant those next spring.
Renewable resource.

I cannot believe this hasn't happened before? Spanish Flu, The Bubonic Plague, the Small Pox killing machine of Native Americans..let us rejoice in the new diabolical Chinese virus Killer of more advanced civilizations by PLANTING A GARDEN..a victory garden or a *spoiled Baby Boomer* garden consisting of tears and blood remembrance.
