as the poster above said are there 12 million in the medical field saying this or are the reports varied? I have heard both and figure the truth is somewhere in between. I tend to believe it's still far north of what the sensationalists in the MSM are saying and showing on a daily basis. Just call it a hunch based on past performance.

That's the thing you can't find these videos by doing any kind of search on Youtube even though as you enter empty hospitals youtube finishes that with during corona and still gives you msm reports. I have found these videos only through posts in different places.

Yes Christiansburg va. I live in Grayson County. My pcp is through carilion. I guess that's the closest place they have that perform the test. I think here in Grayson, more specifically Galax va, we have 2 or 3 confirmed cases. The local hospital is pretty empty. We have been lucky to have so few cases.

But for me it's hard to tell what the truth is. I'm so far away from big cities I can only go off what other people post and show on YouTube.

I just checked for myself. It seems they have effectively sensored everything that is not MSN.

You can only find opposing videos if you dig or accidentally stumble across one.

That in itself should be concerning.

I agree with everything you said, and I wish all that would happen, but it would take a comet or a REAL virus to make it happen. The culture of this country took a nosedive with the dawn of social media. It'll only get worse. Unless somehow the internet is killed. I love and hate the internet.

While I agree social media has introduced a lot of negatives, it's ironic that the only reason we have any suspicions things aren't entirely as they appear in the MSM reports is because of social media. If it wasn't for Twitter, FB, YT, etc., most of us would have no idea people are going to these hospitals and finding them completely calm.

I’ve encountered several “COVID-19” patients on the ambulance and it really seems to be only slightly worse than a bad flu or cold but then again I’m not in the ICU. I work in SF Bay Area doing 911 and we have yet to experience a “surge” as the news or govt is saying will happen.

Or so they've been saying for the past 5 or 6 weeks.

Im a semi retired nurse and in contact with tons of nurses and doctors at the moment. On that note let me say, everyone is being told to STAY OUT OF THE EMERGENCY ROOM unless its a true emergency, example; heart attack, gun shot wound, stroke and things of that nature. So if only 10-20% of folks need to be seen for cough and fever, they call their primary and are being prescribed meds over the phone or facetime...telemedicine style and treating at home. The last point should be re-read. Unless you absolutely NEED Oxygen or a ventilator you STAY HOME!!

Places are not even testing in my county....Lots of places do not have the infrastructure to test......sooooooo.....we are not getting correct numbers.......

What I know..... lots and I mean LOTS of nurses are currently resigning because of a lack of PPE (masks and gloves especially) let that sink in.....

It is NOT a nurses (or doctors or EMTs) job to sacrifice themselves, sorry folks. Our oath did not mention that we will work knowing we are possibly going to die....so please people, STAY HOME.....I dont care how evil the media is. DONT WATCH IT!! They are in it for ratings remember that.

So think about how it works, people do not even know they are exposed for weeks, we haven't even seen the peak. NOT EVEN CLOSE. The whole point of staying home is so that we DONT see the ER or hospital be overrun....all these videos of hospitals not overloaded and empty at the ER are stupid. Have any of these folks gone onto the actual medical or ICU floors? Nope, didnt think so......They ARE getting more and more full. Not yet at capacity but getting ready to......

The goal is to NOT reach capacity that is what mitigation is all about.

On another note, I have a nurse friend who works at a rehab for older folks recovering from surgeries like hip replacement etc.....her whole wing is becoming infected with +3 covid positive and they have ZERO gloves or masks.....she quit yesterday and the director of nursing had the nerve to make her feel guilty, telling her that these people will die without her. This nurse has a pig valve in her heart.....what do you think will happen if she gets infected? Reality sucks bad but this nurse was faced with dying herself and leaving her small kids....the part that sucks is now she is waiting for her test to come back to see if she is infected already....not a good place to be. Its really ALL so sad, but it is what it is.........

No. Not everybody that tests positive goes to the hospital.
You have to be very sick to be admitted.
Most folks are sent home to self quarantine.
