My own grandfather lived for sixteen years with it.
Had two daughters and worked on the long island railroad before it took him in 1936.
He got it during WWI in France. Some time in 1918 or so.
No one he lived with ever got it but my grandmother was a cleaning machine.
Sometimes it takes you fast. My grandfather was a strong looking man from the one photo I've ever seen of him.
