Public Service Announcement:

If TPTB decide to limit, restrict or shutdown internet access, and the only source of information is the corporate media, please dont believe anything they say.

At minimum, question EVERYTHING they say and evaluate it with a healthy dose of skepticism.

I would hope that most ATSers are already skeptical of the media but if they become the only source of information, it may become more difficult to differentiate between the truth and propaganda.

I got the opposite from BT uk , They lifted my cap i had on the grandad plan i am on to Unlimited forever at no extra cost , So all i am paying is £ 16 a month for broadband ,house phone ,cell/mobile unlimited

Our home internet speed is getting doubled for free from the 1st of April... so no, I doubt they’ll ‘lock-down’ or restrict the internet.

Lots of bandwidth with businesses being closed etc.

Well, I would say that they are more likely to have a reason to want to shut something down if there are a bunch of people telling everyone who will listed to not listen to the authorities. This probably isn't the time when you want to test them, considering the misery we'd all be in without the internet while locked in our homes for weeks or months.

So don't give them a reason and they probably won't.

The speed of the internet has dropped to a snails pace in the UK , I was getting 15+mbps now it is down to 2mbps during the day with everyone online 24/7 one door opens and another one closes
