Harvey Weinstein may have coronavirus

Weinstein was sent to Rikers Island right after his sentencing, then went to Bellevue Hospital with chest pains. He returned to Rikers, and was transferred from the jail’s North Infirmary Command to Wende on Wednesday.

He’s since been placed in isolation, the Niagara Gazette reported, citing officials connected to the state prison system. Officials believe he had the coronavirus before arriving at Wende, the paper reported.

A spokesman for the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision couldn’t confirm Sunday whether Weinstein has COVID-19.

If he does have the virus. He is in the age group where this can easily be fatal.

IMO, the guys just finding any way possible to procrastinate the hard time his inevitably going to serve.

I don’t wish this kind of death on anyone. Drowning in your own blood is a horrible fate. This is coming from a guy that doesn’t even like people, but I do care about the humans in a detached way.

There was never one shred of evidence presented in the Weinstein case. Careful talking about karma that is a two way street.

So I didn't follow this case at all, but had to look this up, and you're right, it looks like the man is locked up because of accusations without any evidence.

He maybe guilty af, but think about that...you could start a family, raise your kids, be on your way to your daughter's wedding, and someone decides to claim you raped them 30 years before, and its all over. Guilty as charged. Guilty unless you have video evidence of the entire timeframe in question, because its the only way to prove your innocence.

When did we lose the requirement to prove guilt? Now we have to prove our innocence?
